Hotel was very nice & modern with a good pool and really easy access and parking which worked as I was travelling in a car with a trailer We did eat in the cafe on Saturday evening and the food as poor. An event was on in the hotel and the restaurant was full but that is no excuse for thrown together food at high prices.

The modern, clean environment of the hotel and the excellent facilities made it a very appealing place to stay. The family room size and cleanliness were particularly good. The top cover of the beds were slightly dirty but apart from that everything else was very clean.

Lovely Hotel with good sized rooms, well appointed and clean with good facilities in the room. Pool was clean and gym was well equipped. Arrived on Saturday and could not get into hotel for nearly an hour due to fans coming out of football ground. Very intimidating and frustrating, we had not been told about this problem before booking. Waited nearly an hour for food in Le Cafe despite being the only clients on the Sunday Night. Drinks order was taken 4 times and still came out wrong. Noise from Drunk guests shouting and smoking outside window at 4 am on Sunday morning. Hotel apologetic.

The location (for the stadium) is obviously excellent and the staff were helpful and friendly. The food was good. The bed in the first room was broken...so we were moved to a smaller room where the bed was just uncomfortable! The jacuzzi didn't work and neither did the internet (which you had to pay for)

location was convenient there was no queue at reception just 3 people being dealt with - one on each desk., yet it took 15 minutes before I was served to check in. Beds are poor as I've noticed in previous stays.

I thought that the breakfast deal was a tad expensive. Over £12 for breakfast... Slightly more worthwhile if you go for a cooked breakfast but even so, not that cheap. £12:50 for a bowl of Kelloggs and a cup of coffee? Now you start to see my point. There should be a cheaper deal if you want a continental or cerial option.

Professional, helpful and efficient staff. Good sized rooms, good modern bathroom, very good tv. Freshly cooked food. One of the beds needed replacing due to a good sized dent in regular room. Strange open plan bathroom and only a shower in upgraded rooms. Often a long wait for food during busy times. Overall, rather expensive on different days of the week.

We required a walk in shower and were given the best room ever; spacious, super king size bed, picture windows, settee. The en suite with a shower that had a fixed head and an adjustable head was excellent. Free WiFi also available although we didn't use it.

“I liked that it was in a good location, close to the town centre and on a main road that meant it was easy to find. The price was reasonable and when we arrived the reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The main gentleman on reception was very kind and spoke to my daughter and me with respect and gave my daughter a gift bag which pleased her very much. The rooms were spacious and clean, the beds comfortable and we were even allowed to check in early without a problem.” Claire, Walsall |
