Millennium Hotel London Mayfair44 Grosvenor Square, Mayfair, W1K 2HP London (Show map) Very good, Score from 495 reviews“Had a lovely stay at this hotel. Staff were friendly and courteous. Nothing was too much trouble. I would 100% recommend this hotel for location, service, efficiency and friendliness of staff and cleanliness and facilities in rooms. First class and not extravagantly expensive. Have stayed here several times and it always delivers.”
Lindsay,
Swansea
In London's fashionable Mayfair district, overlooking Grosvenor Square, this elegant 4-star hotel offers luxurious air-conditioned rooms and an award-winning Italian restaurant. Central yet quiet, the Millennium Hotel London Mayfair is less than 550 yards from the stores on Oxford Street and Bond Street. Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens and London's financial centers are within easy reach. With its magnificent Georgian exterior, this 18th-century mansion was once home to the Duchess of Kendal. The building has a rich history and Wellington's victory over Napoleon was announced here. Today, the hotel still offers all the discreet charm of an exclusive private residence. All of the stylish and elegant rooms have private bathrooms, satellite TV, minibars and tea/coffee. Shogun is the hotel's Japanese restaurant serving hand-rolled sushi and exotic specialties, while Avista has won 2 AA Rosettes for its authentic Italian cuisine. Room service is available 24 hours a day. Hotel Rooms: 348, Hotel Chain: Millennium Hotels.

The reception staff were helpful on arrival, storing and promtly delivering our luggage when our room was ready. The room was pleasant enough for our purposes, a two night stay incuding theatre, museum and a meal at Le Gavroche which is located just around the corner. Our room had a good bathroom and a very comfortable bed. We chose this hotel on location and level of comfort and it did not dissapoint on either count. The cost of the breakfast was high so we walked a street away and found food at half the cost. Any extras, I.E. bar tarrifs, are expensive but in Mayfair, London that is to be expected.

The location is amazing , the staff very helpful and polite. The Grosvner Sq Garden front of the Hotel is very nice and clean . Sushi Rest in the corner of the hotel is Amzing. Walking area , 2-5 mints from Oxford St , Bond St, and Piccadly St. I highly recommend this hotle , it pricey littel bit , but among other hotle in the area is very reasonable . Don't waste your time looking for hotel in this area , go ahead and book it. This hotel srounded by 4 embassies USA, Canada, Italy and Indonisasia . Very Safe area . Hyde Park 4 Mints Walk .

Very good location for the US or Canadian Embassies. Room was good quality and tidy, TV, standard bathroom, access to broadband (for £5 for 4 hours) On the first day I stayed the aircon smelt of sewerage but this seemed to have gone by the second day. The price of a room (£175) per night was very expensive. I would expect a pool and gym and breakfast for that price.

Courteous staff. Comfortable, quiet room, just what we asked for. Lovely afernoon tea - scones with cream and jam - lovely! Easy access to Oxford Street, Regent Street and all theatres. We walked everywhere and saw two shows, "Lend me a Tenor", which was excellent and funny and "Legally Blonde", which was equally excellent and funny. Had lovely meals in Bella Italia, Shaftesbury Avenue, China Town - Gerrards Reatuarant and O'Neills in Carnaby Street area.

The room is spacious. The menu for room service is very limited. Considering the hotel is next to Indonesian's embassy and I saw many Indonesian also stays in the hotel, no Indonesia/Malaysian food is available. It will be great if the hotel can have "nasi goreng" or "mee goreng" or "nasi rendang" we spent 4 nights there for business and we didn't have time to go out for dinner, so we always order room service. Also the bed is worn out and really can not support our body well. We asked for a change, and the next bed was better, but still under our expectation.

I liked the attention that a visitor gets from the Hotel staff. I also liked the room very much - it was spacious, full of light, quiet and beautifully decorated. I liked the breakfasts, including the variety of dishes and the quality of food. And the location of the Hotel is simply brilliant!
