In London's stylish Mayfair district, overlooking Grosvenor Square, this elegant 4-star hotel offers luxurious air-conditioned rooms and an award-winning Italian restaurant. Central yet quiet, the Millennium Hotel London Mayfair is less than 500 metres from the shops of Oxford Street and Bond Street. Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens and London's financial centres are within easy reach. With its magnificent Georgian exterior, this 18th-century mansion was once home to the Duchess of Kendal. The building has a rich history and Wellington's victory over Napoleon was announced here. Today, the hotel still offers all the discreet charm of an exclusive private residence. The elegant en suite rooms are traditionally furnished and have satellite TV, minibars and tea/coffee. Shogun is the hotel's Japanese restaurant serving hand-rolled sushi and exotic specialities, while Avista has won 2 AA Rosettes for its authentic Italian cuisine. Room service is available 24 hours a day. Hotel Rooms: 348, Hotel Chain: Millennium Hotels. The most recent booking for this hotel was made on 19 Jun at 07:12 from Ireland.

Room that was given was discusting, bed covers had not been changed, they were not willing to change the room until we complained to management, who would only change the room if we paid £40. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

the staff; efficient and friendly. the restaurant, good value meal. Our room was very faded, even though a superior (so called) double. Tiny bathroom. Badly chipped furniture, incredibly old fashioned and inefficient air conditioning, faded and marked wallpaper. No spare towels or extra pillows. At the price, it was an outrage. I really would not recommend this hotel.

The Location. The staff is not helpful at all they see us struggling with stroller on stares and doors with sleeping children and wouldn't even offer to help although staff is more than the guest them selfs, and good view comes only for suites and all the other rooms has a view on engines which is noisy and hot !!! also they refuse to call a taxi for you all we could do is go to the door men "at the parking exit - at the side road" until some one comes by ! Or use there over rated privet car! And the towels was dirty with colored hard spots on them smelly too, and it was the only hotel that didn't offer a daily mineral water except if you booked a suite, and the funniest thing is they charge you for every move as "service charge" seriously the worst hotel!

We loved the whole experience. The hotel is within easy walking distance to so many wonderful landmarks and even greater shopping districts. The staff were outstanding especially Oliver, Nassera and Selam at the Club Lounge. They made our stay at the Millennium Hotel Mayfair so much more enjoyable. They welcomed us each day with a friendly smile and a chat and went out of their way to make everyone in the Club Room feel at home. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting something special .

The staff was friendly, the beds were comfortable, internet access was good, and the breakfast was great. The two pubs could use an upgrade, they were dead both nights we were there.

Staff attitude was very good. I had wanted an larger room which was not available at the time, so your duty manager made my criteria workable...my son needed to revise in a quiet area for his gcse exams. Moved to a large room a couple of days later, but it had internet problems, staff moved us immediately to another room...all very efficient and pleasant.

Hadn't specified walking difficulty but there was no problem in altering the room to be nearer the lifts, tho' the £40 per night upgrade was a bit of a shock. Never stayed anywhere, not even a B&B where there was no biscuit to have with my cuppa.

Nice rooms, very clean, and polished, good beds, great location and if you can get the right price then well worth it Last time I stayed, I paid top price, was put in a big room, but then it was above the car park entrance and all I heard for an hour at 4am was bin lorries and bottles being collected. Needless to say I didn't get much sleep

Location, staff always taking charge in helping out. Other than the furniture and facilities everything I liked about the hotel, when I make a trip again to London in a couple of months I might stay here depends g in if I get a fair deal(value for money). The room(not the washroom) had old worn down furniture, needs to be replaced at a dire need. There should be more lighting in the room, mini bar should be a bit bigger in size so that one can store some of their stuff in there too.
