There is no AC the room is hot
Location food was excellent next to the train station and very near to the Hyde Park it was a fantastic trip ☺☺
The bed was really comfortable
The room on the whole was dirty and hairdryer didn't work
nice rooms, good position, nice surounding, close to the tube station , very clean
I was disappointed that free Wi-Fi was not available at neither the reception lounge nor in the room.
The hotel was close to the underground and places of interest like museums, kensington gardens and shops.
Big mess up with our booking requested and paid for extra bed and didn't get it even after complaining. The rooms were old fashioned and dated. Bar wasn't well stocked either.
Location because we travelled from /to by The tube. The staff were excellent and polite and smiling.
We had a standard room and the lilghting for reading was really poor. T
Staff were nice and hotel was clean and in an excellent location.
I'd recommend only putting guests who are attending a function in the rooms above the function room.
confusion with booking at reception desk. was turned away from buffet breakfast even though we had paid...lack of communication between staff :(
Room very cold -- possible heating failure?
This is the hotel i stay when i spend my week ends in London. There is not much to fault this hotel, quick check in, clean and quite rooms but most of all convenient location (Gloucester Underground Station)
The 3 major underground lines only a step away from the hotel. Never had to walk. Good staff. Very kind and formal.
Nope. All good.
Front of door staff helpful friendly on the ball knowledge in particular David Arnold and Ali This is now my hotel if choice whilst in the city
The lobby, the cleanliness of the rooms, spacious comfortable rooms
internet service should be free as all other hotels , no hotel of this category in 2015 and still charging for the internet service. Throughout our 5 nights stay, 3 light bulbs in the room and 1 in the bathroom were burnt out and never changed !!!
Friendliness of staff
The room was extremely spacious even with an extra bed in it. Very quiet. The staff was helpful and friendly. Location is convenient close to underground, buses and hop-on-hop-off bus (ca 150m). The museums are just 5 min walk away.
The bathroom could have been cleaned more carefully. The room was a bit dark due to two small lamps only. Internet for extra cost (most cafes and restaurants in the area provide free wifi). All in all it is a very good hotel with just minor remarks.
Comfy, warm rooms after long day out. Ideal location for museums and sight seeing. Easy access to tube and places to eat.
Noise from heating or air conditioning unit kept me awake. It was quite loud in middle of night! Other than that, hotel very quiet.
The staff is very helpful and the service is great. I was especially pleased with exceptional front office personnel's attention who made every effort to make us comfortable with very short notice. Any of the staff members we've interacted with during the stay were efficient, agreeable and personable.
The old fashioned and tired shower and bath might need some replacing. Always absolutely well cleaned though.
Toiletries and towels in bathroom.very clean room.Tube station next door. Good selection of shops and Cafes close bye.
First night asked reception for milk arrived 40 mins later after calling back.next night asked reception for milk and biscuits as none left in room also blanket as duvet very thin.1 hour later went down to reception, milk arrived no blanket ,called back again.surely it would be easier to give these items from reception. Wasn't happy with the waiting around at bedtime.
Staff very friendly, especially the Concierge.
Went for dinner in Humphreys bar, placed our order to be told the oven was broken so wasn't able to have it and choice was very limited. Room was nice however a few maintenance things although nothing major.
Convenient location. Helpful staff.
Tired and basic rooms.
Location, service at reception. Very good Club facilities. Spacious room.
Room was not cleaned until mid afternoon and only after I complained. I only saw one cleaner serving the whole floor, and therefore more staff is needed. Though double-bed room, room was mainly equipped for one guest (1 robe, 1 hand towel and only one biscuit !).
Rooms need updating! A fresh coat of paint! Just your average London hotel.
Noisy housekeeping staff!
Location. 1 Min walk from Tube Station Internet Quality Room Service (Breakfast)
