One of the best things was the location very close to the Gloucester tube station that we used all the time. Our room was changed without any problem. It was very hot and even with the air conditioner on every time we came back in, it was very uncomfortable. Also, we had to go through many hallways to get to our room that was the last room on the fourth floor. We also liked the fact that there were many restaurants, cafes and coffee shops in the area. I would definately recommend the hotel.

The room was larger than we expected since European hotel rooms tend to be smaller than those in the states. The buffet breakfast was excellent. The location was a few steps from the Gloucester Road Tube Stop. There were a lot of restaurants close by and a Tesco market and Waitrose market. The bathroom was very small with the door placement so you had to close the door to use the toilet. The lighting was poor above the sink.

It was good value for money. Very comfortable rooms and clean (I had a double room by myself). The location is excellent, next to the tube and just two stations away from Knigtsbridge. The staff is very firendly and they try to cope immidiately with any requests. I stayed there for 15 days and I asked them to make me a good offer in order to use the wifi. The best they could do was 150 gbp, which of course I did not accept. The price was not exceessive compared to other hotels, but when someone stays for so many days they can do something better. Although I was on the fouth floow there was a lot of noise comming from the street. Despite, these issues I was very satisfied from the hotel and should I travel to London, I ll definitely stay there again.

Location and Millenium Club are excellent. Nothing in particular to dislike but perhaps the benefits of the Millenium Club could be better promoted. This was my fourth time to stay at the hotel and the last vist was the first time the Club was mentioned or promoted by reception staff.

Location was very convenient for walking to many London highlights, as well as accessing the Tube. The rooms are very pokey and need a revamp soon. The furniture is very clunky and takes up significantly more space than is required (or available), eg. a heavy chair and ottoman in the room that is simply in the way. For short stays, it was OK but would not do for more than a few days.

Great location for sightseeing and shopping Expected far more for the extortionate price of a room. Bar was understaffed; staff were slow, rude, and made frequent mistakes with bills.

An excellent hotel which I booked at a very good price. For what I paid it was excellent value for money, normally a lot dearer and so everything is relative, relative to the price paid for the room. The whole hotel oozes quality. Nothing to moan about at all

Character & quality of hotel. Staff very attentive, polite and helpful. Location to underground, variety of local shops nearby along with cafe's bars & restaurants. As mentioned at reception when I checked out, we found the room unbearably hot in the early hours of the morning, which woke us up. It took a long time to cool down once the control in the room had been altered and it crept up too high again shortly afterwards. My friend actually left the room early to go to Heathrow as she could not bear the heat in the room.

“I simply must say, that the staff was fantastic! Especially the porters and other staffmembers in the lobby were unbelivably helpfull. We will definitely returm with great pleasure. ” Peter, København |
