room look tired and the bed seemed old

Our room was great, location great and breakfast was brilliant.

A very big problem for business people is when you have a room close to the Airconditioning installation installed on the roof beside the hotel. This is very uncomfortable and if there is a next visit planned I will only stay at this hotel if I have a room not close to the roof (difficult to get sleep-).

Loaction . Price Nice staff very helpfully honest . We left a money bag and a hand bag both handed in to duty manager.I Phoned to ask if bags had been found was told they had.my view from my room was fantast right down queen st and over looking gorg square.

The staff were very helpful and location excellent for shopping, bars, restaurants and train station

Room 120 was very run down & old fashioned 1/windows would not open 2/Curtain Rail held up by screw,would not shut completely 3/cracked tiles on bathroom floor,Ceiling in bathroom badly flaking 4/carpet has got to be over 20 years old, with carpet as skirting & ingraine with dirt around edge. 5/sofa was very uncomfortable Entrance to hotel was nice & modern/tidy looking, which is propbably why we were dissappointed with room as it was from a diffirent era without the old school class! The reception staff said it was only a standard breakfast although we explained that we booked on line & it was an english breakfast, they said it was impossible, i had to show the email to prove my entitlement.

Just the location is good for shopping, and it's too close to train station. But the hotel is very poor and very old. I think this is not a 4star hotel, maybe 1 star or less.

Excellent location, close to the transport network, great price, great for the tourist very friendly staff. I had an overall great experience.

No curtains on the window, it felt like people could see in from the street. Just a bit uncomfortable.

Great city centre location,friendly and helpful staff,lovely dining area.breakfast good quality and good selection on buffet.the room was spacious and clean.

What we liked most was the location as it sits right in the heart of glasgow city centre making it an ideal base for exploring the city.

Unfortunately we didnt get much sleep on this visit as our rooms were at back of hotel and both queen street station and the air conditioning units were extremely noisy. The quilt wasnt adequate either and i found it very cold during the night also there was only one bath towel in bathroom meaning my husband and i had to share. As we stayed last year in a clubroom at front of hotel we found this stay somewhat lacking and unfortunately we had brought friends along too after boosting about our previous stay.

Location, comfortable room, very helpful night porter -star performer. Staff very friendly.
