Easy to find, helpful friendly staff, very comfortable. Good breakfast. Ideal location would definetly recommend.
Location of plug sockets.
The staff were very polite and eager to help with anything. The room was very nice and there was a good selection for the breakfast.
The room view was poor. The first night there was a party or disco with very loud music until 11:30pm (not sure if this was actually part of the hotel). It was far too hot to the point of dehydration we sweated so much and the room didn't cool properly until we left 2 days later. It could have been updated a little, especially in the bathroom, it was a little run down.
Excellent service from the very beginning. The staff was very helpful and friendly, they really made me feel welcome. Great location next to the Gloucester Road tube station, easy access to and from Heathrow (direct line). The rooms were spacious.
If the hotel is committed to "saving the environment", then the changing of towels every day MUST STOP. If a client wants to use the towels again and puts them on the rack, this must be appreciated.
tiny room minibar was empty - not even water in there no heating - room was freezing reception added a breakfast voucher to the bill I never ordered
1-The building is old 2- The floor is causing a noise sound when someone is walking on it especially inside the room and from the above rooms.
it was in front of the subway, there a lot of pubs, parks, around there, is located in a very good area. The bar is very nice, although the restaurant. I enjoyed my stay in the hotel, the personal was really nice.
Everything was ok
room, the welcome and attention, the location.
breakfast a bit expensive for what you get. For capuccino we needed to pay extra at breakfast, no fresh fruits. The internet, we had to keep on giving in the code for the Wifi. They should make wifi easier accesible.
Charming old hotel. Very good service. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location.
The spacious bathroom was poorly equipped. There was no place for our vanity kits other than the floor. The cupboard in the bedroom was practically non-existent. We were told that the rooms will be renovated soon.
great location with nice pubs , restaurants nearby and in front to metro station, nice staff, good breakfast, room size ok, comfortable bed, bathroom with window
All of the staff were very friendly
Quiet despite central location
Extras have to be on bill. No pay as you go option.
Fantastic location. Friendly personnel. Nice beds.
Bathroom very small. Almost impossible to take a shower without being wrapped in the shower curtain. You have to ask for wifi at the reception. This should be provided automatically these days. And it is annoying that room service wakes you up at 8 am on the day that you are checking out.
We liked the brilliant value for money location and also liked the chraracter/history of this hotel and willlstay there again .
- proximity to underground station - comfort/size of the room - quiet - nearby dining options
i did not like the fact that every time we get there we dont get an upgrade and we have a membership card
the noise from the extractor fan
Location Hotel environment beautiful Quiet bedrooms First class, professional helpful and dedicated staff Congratulations to all the team, you make the hotel work so well and ensure guests are welcome and comfortable Particularly important for a solo female traveller like me
Breakfast may need a little improvement if possible ?..
location, close to underground
wifi totally ineffective, impossible to work with computer or phone, every minute out with whatever line you can chose !!! Really very annoying
Great location. Efficient and friendly personnel. Spacious and well appointed room. Décent restaurant with good service.
I have just returned from staying 6 nights at the Millennium Baileys in London and thoroughly enjoyed it. The hotel is in a great location – just alongside Gloucester Road tube station. There are also plenty of dining places nearby and it is just a short walk to the Natural History Museum and Victoria and Albert Museum. The staff at the hotel are very professional and friendly. Our room on the 5th floor was spacious and well furnished. There are a good selection of bars & restaurants within walking distance and in particular a great pub directly opposite the hotel. Highly recommended and I would definitely stay there again. This will be my hotel in London from now on!
everything was great
The hotel is right on the underground station so easy access and situated in a nice neighborhood. The reception, lobby and restaurant looks nice-old style. Breakfast is good. The staff friendly and professional.
We had a standard double room. The worst experience ever. I have never ever see such a small, poor furbished and decorated room , not to mention for a 4* hotel. I dont know how the deluxe room looks like, as there was not availability, but the standard room is horrible. The bathroom looks like you are back in time in 60's, everything so old and dated. The room very cold, the ventilation just making noise and zero hot air. The windows are so old and not isolated, so you almost feel the wind behind the curtain. The sink is shocking. There are 2 taps, one for cold water and completely a separate one for hot water. So its impossible to mix the hot with the cold water. So either you wash yourself with very cold water or with very hot water. Like in 60's. We were brushing tooth and washing faces and hands, with the shower, where happily we could mix the water. Absolutely DISAPPOINTED. If you choose this hotel, do not book a Standard Room. You will regret spending not 180 euros per day, but it doesn't worth not even 80 euros.
My sister & I travelled to London to see a show at the Royal Albert Hall and sightseeing for rest of weekend. We spent 2 pleasant nights at Bailey's within walking distant of Royal Albert Hall, Hyde Park & museums. Best of all, tube station was across road from hotel.
Decor in rooms a little dated, but that's not a complaint as room & twin beds were a good size.
Handy for station
The happy hour wasn't as happy as anticipated.
Comfortable, old world luxury atmosphere. Convenient to Circle and district lines, though Piccadilly line currently closed. Nice breakfast. Quiet snack room for taking a break. Comfortable bed
Inadequate lighting in bedroom area.
