Traditional London feel. Very nicely preserved and decorated reception, lounge and restaurant. Food was very good at the restaurant. Location was terrific. Wifi provided at no charge in the Lounge was very slow. We were a family of 5. You were not able to provide us with adjoining rooms.

Location of the hotel was excellent, staff was excellent. The room was very nice with a large bathroom. Our view, however, was a brick wall and as a result we received very little natural light in the room. The air conditioner was noisy, but since we spent very little time in the room these were not huge problems. Would definitely recommend this hotel. The room while kept neat and tidy was not cleaned thoroughly every day.

We thought the age and the britishness was lovely the staff were very friendly it had a feel good feeling about it. The room we were given was very fusty, damp and some of the furniture was broken. We have stayed in the Millenium in Mayfair so we were a little let down with the room as we were celebrating my husbands 50th birthday.

Love this hotel and especially like the location. Great pub just down the road. Spacious rooms, excellent friendly staff. The Olive Martini Bar with cocktail hour and free wifi is a bonus.

The staff made us most welcome, this being our second visit and formed part of our 50th wwedding celebrations. We could not have wished for more friendly service and help from all members of the Bailey's team. Thank you to all.

Great location adjacent to tube station. The room was very noisy. The hotel is built around a service area and there was a constant roar of what I think were air exchangers. It was difficult getting to sleep. We had to leave the tely on with the volume up to drown out the noise. If you are staying here ask for a room on the outside walls.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. We had a club room which was large for London standards. The majority of the staff were helpful, polite and friendly. The food in the Olive restaurant was excellent, fresh fish especially so. We would return in the future. The majority of the staff were foreign ~ most of them spoke good English and had a good understanding but one or two had trouble understanding what was being asked.

The staff at the hotel is very helpful. We had a room in the back. No view but quiet. The location is excellent just accross from the Gloucester Road tube station and within walking distance of the major museums. There are many restaurants, cafes and supermarkets in the neighbourhood. We thought that overall it was good value for money. No free internet in the rooms. (There is in the lobby)

We liked the convenience of being next to the underground (from the airport and to the city). We liked the upgrade to a larger room and whilst comfortable and clean they are getting a bit old and in need of renovating. Size of the room.

It was quite comfortable, if a little old fashioned No porter service offered to take case to room, upgraded?? room which was at far end of hotel and down flight of stairs, no lift access at that end of the hotel . This "upgrade" was allocated despite it being obvious that one of us had mobilty problems. Large stain on carpet and dirt around bathroom taps

This is a very well located hotel with a calm and pleasant interior making a welcome change from the bustle outside of Central London. The room was clean and well prepared with excellent facilities. We did not eat at the hotel so cannot comment on the dining. Only one negative aspect - the shower was very poor with not enough water pressure to effectively rinse shampoo from my hair! There was a hand held shower attached to the taps to which we resorted to finish showering.

The location was very convenient. Underground station across the street. Lots of restaurants around. Clean rooms/bathrooms and spacious for a London hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. My wife wanted the old 'Lodon feel' but in comfort and she got it. The only negative thing was that our room's windows didn't have a view at all and was quite dark ( positive in summer - long time daylight) but then again, we only slept in our rooms but were out the whole day.

The hotel was very central. Room very good if a little small, breakfast was good too. We didn't find the hotel staff very friendly (except one very nice barman) although we would probably stay again as it was a very good location.
