The location is good First of all they tried to put me on the 2nd floor when on both their Web site and Booking.com it said the type of room I reserved was on an 'upper floor'. The room was tatty and old with wall paper coming off the walls ... not 'recently refurbished' as stated on their site. The food was awful. The walls/ceilings are so thin you can't avoid being disturbed by other guests - even if they're just talking! |

The cafe bar was a very good standard - I dont normally eat in hotels in London as atmosphere is usually better in restaurants - but this cafe was very relaxing. |

Excellent location as it it close to museums, shops and the tube is just a two minute walk. The breakfast on a Sunday is a real English one. Club room was extremely small for 2 adults. |

Excellent location, in the heart of Knightsbridge. Great views of London from the upper floors (reaching all the way to Big Ben). Nicely decorated room. Staff was impeccable. Rooms are rather small, which is OK for a short stay with little luggage, but I imagine a longer stay would mean you wouold be tripping over suitcases and bags all the time. Bathroom very small. We didn't go for the breakfast, as it was 25 pounds per person, and the description in the menu certainly did not justify the cost. Also, Internet access is way too expensive (I can't understand why British hotels don't provide free wifi access when nowadays it is such a cheap service to offer well-paying guests). |

It was central to the main shops and the staff where very helpful especially since i got my purse stole out of my bag they helped me getin contact with the Police etc... I have to say the bed but I have a bad back and the bed was far too soft and i was in agony...But I am sure everyone else likes them. Also the breakfast was not included in the price and I just have a problem spending £25 on a bit of bacon and egg I just cannot justify that...If it was in the price of the Hotel then nobody would know how expensive breakfast was. |

Location, room, Front desk staff 1st class, cocktail bar really nice and fairly priced, very clean, good image, nice room, comfortable temprature, high standard of maintenance. The restaurant at breakfast time. We did not like the atmosphere, partly due to the 'electric' music being played on a Sunday morning. We found the serving staff skills to be poor and unrefined. One of us had the continental breakfast and said that was ok but three of us had the English breakfast and gave it 1 out of 10. Grisly sausage, undercooked bacon and the very greasy under cooked runny egg. Not a good experience for £25.00 per head. If they could put this one thing right it would complete the deal for me and I would rate it better value for money. |

initally discouraged by reviews, dont be this hotel is fab.from check in to the quality of the room and the concierge sevice we could not have been made more welcome or comfortable.upon leaving we were already planning another visit to this hotel later in the year.and another thing there are some great reaturants, pubs within a stone throw of the hotel to get good quality, value food. the main hotel resturant was booked for a function so was unavaliable to guests.this gave us an excellent excuse to explore the local area. |

Yes, I booked a double room and booked it for 2 adults and a 5 y.o. kid, and when I got there they took us to a tiny room with a queen size bed. I went back to the front desk and told them there was a mistake and there is no way that 3 of us could fit there. They told me double bed means a queen size bed!!! I just checked the online dictionary for it as I began to doubt my self. And I found that I am right " A double hotel room sleeps up to four people in two double beds. Since there are two beds, it is called a double." http://wiki.answers.com/Q/What_is_a_double_hotel_room We ended up to upgrade the room for additional 70 pounds for just adding an extra bed for the kid which had an awful mattress and she could not sleep on it. For a 4star hotel the TV was too out dated, the carpet was dirty. And the room was really small. And that was an upgraded room!!! Incorrect booking information. They said they tried to call me and regarding that 3 of us won't fit in the room!! I never received a phone-call or an e-mail from them. I ended up paying them 293 ponds for each night!!! |
