The ML Lodge's location is only 2 minutes from the Millennium Stadium and is ideal for shopping and nightlife. All rooms have private bathrooms and have a range of excellent facilities. Check-in is across the road at the Sandringham Hotel, which is located across from the ML Lodge. You can also have free Wi-Fi access at the Sandringham. All rooms feature an LCD flat-screen TV with cable. Please note that there are 5 floors at ML Lodge, but unfortunately no elevator. I did not actually stay in ml Lodge because there was a problem with the room which I was told about when I arrived at Sandringham Hotel, so they gave me a room in the Sandringham instead. It was very comfortable and although quite old, I had all the facilities I needed.

Nothing! It was so disappointing, I expected a clean room, floor still had previous guests hair on the floor, shower head was broken as was the toilet roll holder, premier in so much better for roughly the same price!! Shocking Everything, terrible place, make us check in at a nice hotel and then guide us to a rubbish place

Very convenient, good value, easy reach of car parking. Cafe Jazz good food and 20% discount if staying at ML Lodge or Sandringham Hotel. Friendly welcome.

The lady on reception in the Sandringham where we checked in was very friendly and heloful, our room was not quite ready when we got there but she told us to go into the hotels bar and got us a free drink whilst we waited. Excellent customer service.

Location It was ok the bed was the most uncomfrtable bed we have ever experienced. We all woke up and got a train at 7.50am cause we could stand it no more.. The place was ok but beds rubbish

For a week end break it was perfect you are central to everything. There was everything you needed in your romm and it was good value for money The only down side was the stairs. It's not the place to stay if your looking for a quiet night.

If its a simple choice of location then it's a perfect choice. Expected no frills and got it. Was there for the rugby and just around the corner so met all of our needs. Room wasn't the cleanest I have stayed in.

Good budget hotel! Perfect location for a break in Cardiff, parking was great too as it was literally 5 mins walk from the hotel in a secure car park. The only thing that annoyed me was that I was on the 5th floor and there was no lift!

Budget hotel - does what it says. You get what you (don't) pay for here. Room was noisy (generator noise) the shower door would not close properly when in it, the wall holder came off easily and the kettle was broken.

Staff were all friendly, room was suitably clean, right in the middle of Cardiff, fantastic access to attractions/travel services, inexpensive. Room heater not attached to the wall properly, although they did send a workman up to fix it back promptly, shower was poor over the three days we stayed, after complaining we were permitted to shower in another room and offered breakfast on the last night.

It is on a great location - very close to the train station and also Cardiff city center itself. Clean, tidy, great location, and value for money. What more would you ask for? There is no lift so it is really troublesome to carry many stuffs up the stairs all by yourself to the higher floors

We booked for New Year's Eve and had a family room. The room was clean and everything we needed was there. Iron and Ironing Board, Coffee/tea, tv, hair dryer and an en suite bathroom. The receptionist was wonderful and explained everything to us. She even arranged for someone to carry our bags for us. I would defintely use the ml Lodge again as would my friends.

Lovely large room, very central, comfortable. Couldn't sleep at all because of the noise from outside. If you could invest in double glazing/sound proofing the experience would be perfect. It felt like I was trying to sleep outside in the middle of the noise. The stairs are very hard work with a case. If you could provide a porter to help with luggage that would make life a lot easier
