cooked breakfast...I would recommend not keeping a cooked breakfast hot for too long..perhaps being more creative...give it a make over ...it needs a bit of frothy coffee and cookies..label the jugs of juice would have been nice..

Website feature of rooms, didnt show all the available rooms,(very misleading) we were located in "new rooms", these did not represent value for money, and you could all going on in the other rooms (three rooms in total), you could light switches put on, sockets witched on, kettles boiled, keys in doors to open them, banging doors.

Excellent value for money. Room comfortable, well furnished and ideal for short visit. Staff friendly, available and helpful. Meal excellent.

Value and service totally overcame any misgivings.

The staff were friendly and prepared for our late arrival, the rooms were very clean and comfortable, breakfast in ther morning was very good and checkout was fast and efficient.

Location Value for money

Good sized clean room. Plenty of tea/coffee etc which was replaced when used. Good to have a bath as well as shower. Very good vegetarian breakfast which is unusual.

Staff were helpful on booking in & packed lunch provided was a great idea.

Bed was uncomfortable, Room above was very noisy - general noise all night. Booked via booking.com & they got the booking wrong

staff excellent,nothing too much trouble ,welcoming and friendly,breakfast was great value ,i loved the sauna,,and would book hotel later in year for a week just to have the sauna access,,,ps the haddock and chips was the best thing about the stay ,,complements to the chef...lol

we were in room 24 and we could here footsteps above very early morning around 6.30 7.30 which disturbed us some what ..when we came back after breakfast 8.30-9am they started making up the rooms just outside ours ,which meant we could not go back to sleep,we were on a break from getting up at 7am at home ,,,so a longer lay in was what we wanted

Well presented large room with modern facilities, very clean and excellent for a one night stay. Excellent value for money.

Staff were extremely friendly, helpful and sorted things out cheerfully. Lindsey on reception is a credit to the hotel as she could not have been more pleasant and helpful when there was a mix up with our reservation.

Good location with parking. Free wi-fi for laptop/tablet and excellent facility.

Reception staff tried to charge me for someone else's meal when we checked out. Careless mistake as the people who had the meal may well have checked out having had a free meal. Restaurant staff so slow at serving both evening meal and breakfast. They need more training.

Themenu is okay. However, some of the food deals do not make any sense, why do hotels buy cheap yoghurt to serve at breakfast. The lamb shank was though. But for £7 what do you expect. I would not expect to find it on the menu. If you are going to do food do it properly
