57 Mills Bakery is a stunning apartment in an outstanding converted Grade 1 listed building. Mills Bakery is situated waterside and features panoramic sea and river views. The apartment has been furnished to the highest of standards and equipped to provide that true 'home away from home feeling'. The interior design is both contemporary and luxurious to contrast the rich, historic maritime architecture of the building and emphasise the juxtaposition between the old and the new. 57 Mills Bakery boasts a master bedroom within the vaulted ceiling. Located on the upper mezzanine level the room showcases the original beams as well as a feature bath, a pair of fitted wardrobes and an en suite cloakroom. The Guest Bedroom offers twin single beds and a fully glazed wall offering ample natural light. The lounge area has two sumptuous sofas in which you can relax and watch television on the 43" flat-screen TV. The Smart TV allows you to choose from one of many Freeview channels as well as access your favourite streaming Apps. EE Broadband is also included to suit your Wifi needs. Free Parking is available upon request. Please provide your vehicle details at the time of booking.
The Owner of this property travels extensively and as such understands the importance and pleasure that high quality furnishings, bedding and equipment bring when holiday letting. The aim of this property is to ensure that Guests are not left wanting, that everything they require is included and that they enjoy their time in this beautiful part of the country to the fullest.
The Royal William Yard was constructed between 1825 and 1831 as a victualing yard for the Royal Navy. Between 2000 and 2007 the listed buildings were expertly refurbished to provide the luxury apartments and high-end restaurants that exist today. The Royal William Yard has become a gastro-hub with fashionable eateries producing great quality food. The Yard boasts establishments such as Le Bistro Pierre's French cuisine, Les Vignoble wine bar with over 250 wines, champagnes and liquers, Pho Vietnemese restaurant, Hubbox Burger Bar and The Seco Lounge providing great bar food in a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. Also on site are Art Galleries, an Everyman Boutique Cinema and a high fashion clothing store. Open air cinemas, theatrical performances and local food and farmers markets are some of the many events that happen throughout the year in this vibrant development. There is a regular ferry service in operation from the Royal William Yard marina to both Mount Edgecumbe country park and the Barbican, Plymouth's historic quarter.
