Lovely staff. Wonderful central location. Lots of character.
Lots of stairs wouldn't suit everyone.
No parking for drop off. No parking long term nearby. A lot of stairs to climb with luggage
Room comfortable but smaller than photos shown on website.
It stated parking was available. Wrong, the nearest was a long stay 10 minutes walk away, not good when you have to struggle with luggage. Why lie about it, just tell the truth and we are able to make a decision on the information truthfully supplied.
Central location, we also ate in their restaurant which was excellent. Breakfast was good too.
The room was fantastic and the rainfall shower was excellent. Felt very comfortable.
The hotel is great for getting around bath right in the middle, beautifully decorated very comfortable and cozy, will definitely be coming back for some more weekend breaks.
Amazing breakfast eggs royal a definite every time.
The room was terrific and the staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast delicious.
The staff were keen to make your stay a good one, especially at breakfast where we couldn't have wanted for anything! And the quality was superb
No room service
All the rooms have been recently refurbished. Breakfast in Loch-fine was excellent. Can't wait to stay here again.
Nice room good bathroom
No room service
One the nicest hotels we have stayed.
Having to go home.
Lovely hotel, had room since which was small but lovely. It was at the back of the hotel so less noisey.
No reception desk & had to wait for restaurant staff to check in & also check out.
Beautiful building, the location was fantastic, the breakfast was lovely too. The man who served us for breakfast was so cheerful, a great start to the day!
No wifi as far as I could tell
Stairs and lots of them
All brilliant was 2nd time at hotel & booked again for next year so welcoming ... Elena & all staff are totally amazing , fun , happy & very helpful
The staff service was fantastic, and the room larger than our expectations
My only critisum was our room was very noises from the street outside and when people were coming in and out the main door, the room door would rattle as if somebody was trying to enter.
The room was lovely - better than I had expected! Had everyhting I needed and was very stylish and comfortable. As a lone traveller I made use of Loch Fyne below for my evening meal and was given a great table that didn't make me feel isolated and allowed me to see everything that was going on around me.
There is no diret car park, but the Long Stay car park close by wasn't too far away or too expensive. It was also a little noisy in the streets outside in the middle of the night - I heard the following day it may have been 'Student Night' in the city. However, I easily got back to sleep in the comfortable bed.
No parking No foyer reception area Miserable staff
We went in a suite which was grand and spacious. Had a lovely deep bath and separate shower. Tall ceilings, flat screen TV and the cosiest bed I've slept in. The location is perfect right in the city. Hotel is above a restaurant so breakfast was fresh and delicious. Would go again and recommend to others.
Only minor improvements would make this hotel exceptional. The wifi was the cloud and not the hotels own which means setting up an account for a slow connection. This also meant we couldn't use the smart tv's other internet features like netflix web browsing etc. I forgot to mention to the hotel that the door creaks from the hall draft in the night when the door from the hallway to the reception is used. The hotel does not have parking because of the location but the car park was a five minute walk, maybe some sort of discount deal with customers and that carpark would of been a nice touch. Breakfast is served in their restaurant and no option to have in the room and no room service for snacks in the night. I think you can gather that none of the above is enough to put someone off from going. I will be staying there again.
A little bit noisy due to location in city centre
Superb breakfast in Loch Fine resturant. Well appointed bathroom.
Bedroom a little small, some late night noise from outside.
This hotel is so cool, and our room was really nice (in the corner so lots of windows). The bathroom was especially nice With a new fancy shower (but no bathtub). Location is right in the middle of town, so we had no problems finding restaraunts and attractions. The nespresso machine was really great to have in the room. Staff was really warm and helpful. The breakfast included was beyond my expectation. Overall, I would definetly stay here again. It was worth the money.
My issues were that parking was far away, wifi needed "the cloud" to access it, and there is no lift so we had to carry our baggage up 3 flights of steep stairs.
Lovely and clean and comfortable.
We arrived to early to check in and then weren't informed that reception would close at 11. We stupidly didn't think about this and arrived late. We were locked out but some kind staff in the restaurant let us in. All very kind apart from the ticking off we got for being late which put a bit of a downer on my birthday. Remember to always confirm check in times!
Breakfast was good on one day
This is not a hotel it is a restaurant with rooms. We felt we were an inconvenience to staff. Parking is a distance away and there are several flights of stairs to negotiate to the rooms. Traffic noise and drunken revellers from establishments opposite. No room information - no idea about free wifi - room clean but too small to move 8 inches between foot of bed and wall makes it hard to use bathroom. Breakfast on first day very good - second day half cooked, poorly presented and took forty minutes to arrive. Not good when parking is £3.40 an hour. Worst of all the whole place absolutely stunk of fish. - obviously it's over a fish restaurant - but it wreaked! If you are coming by train, have little luggage, love climbing, are very thin and partially deaf with no sense of smell you will love it! Not worth the price in any way. Buyer beware!
