Loved the location & room was clean & comfortable. Good value for money & breakfast was excellent.
Hotel had tired look in public areas. Not easy to find in Henley as is tucked inside lock- fyne Restaurant. Our friends room was of a lower standard & smaller than ours, which made it embarrassing as I had done the booking.
Decent location. good breakfast.
When I opened the window there was a strong smell of cigarettes from the area below.
Breakfast was fantastic, staff were so helpful.
Excellent stay. Private parking on site was a bonus in the centre of Henley.
Breakfast was excellent and the staff good.
I have never had a room that has a shower and toilet but no door at all and zero privacy. Our room was very hot at night and uncomfortable due to this. Opening the window made no difference. Due to the bathroom facilities we will not stay at this hotel again,
Superb restaurant with great room above. A real find.
Welcoming Staff, greeted with a smile and very efficient. Room was super spacious and bed was comfy, had a great night sleep, followed by a fabulous breakfast with friendly service.
only slight annoying thing was shower head kept slipping down (Room 2), but wouldn't put me off staying again. Sheets were clean but had some black marks on it! (laundry error maybe!)
Staff was friendly and room was spacious
All staff excellent
Central location Henley is a fantastic place to visit Top fish restaurant below and a great breakfast Very friendly staff
Room was very hot (sash windows woundn't stay open - had to hold up with Coke cans) Woken at 5.30 by market traders outside (Thurs) Bathroom was behind a partition at the top of the bed with no door !
The room we stayed in had a bath, which i asked for, it was also roomy and clean. The outlook onto the market square was also very good. We also had free parking at the back of the Hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The room was at the front and there were a lot of revellers till 3pm in the morning. We were also woken up before 6am, as there were market stalls being set up right outside our bedroom window, this was a Sunday morning and we not expecting this as we were going to be travelling over 300 miles home it was not a good start to the day.
Hidden away above a first class restaurant.
Didn't bother us but no night service which some people might not like.
Fantastic location, lovely staff, we had a lovely large room and large bathroom and once we'd managed to get, we couldn't fault a thing. Would def stay again.
This hotel was very hard to find, the rear car park was not sign posted and we drove round a while trying to find how to get in!
Friendly staff, very clean, lovely breakfast, fantastic location and free car parking! Highly recommended!
Lovely big room, facilities good, fabulous breakfast
Room 7 - timber frame character Exceptional staff led by an excellent manager on top of her game. The food far exceeded our expectations- the rump pave one of the best ever and the tasty kippers at breakfast completed our visit!
The price at £60 was ok
Tatty, smelt musty, poor customer service would not recommend
Position of the hotel Large airy rooms including the bathroom Good price Friedly staff
nothing to report on this
Location Room Food Staff
Great evening reception staff
Breakfast service was appalling (chef had to bring the food out to us) with dead flies floating in the orange juice!
Very nice hotel. Well located and nice food.
Restaurant with Rooms a better description. Excellent meal and lovely to walk straight up to bed. Once we got someone to let us in service was good.
Not quite a hotel
Most cheerful and helpful staff. Interesting early 19th Century building. Loch Fyne restaurant, as always, excellent menu and best way to enter hotel. Used by locals -- always a good sign. Excellent proximity to Henley centre and market.
Bedroom on top (3rd) floor, heavy-going climb for elderly -- our fault for not booking earlier!! "Main" entrance, small door to side of Loch Fyne, very scruffy (hence prefer enter through restaurant). Entrance passageway a store for outside furniture -- but where else?

Would have liked a bath in the bathroom
