lovely sized comfy room, great breakfast and a fine choice of local pubs
Our room, absolutely dreadful! Room number 5. No bathroom doors, open toilet in the room! Disgusting!
Good location for exploring the town.
Useless directions to the hotel from its own car park (at the back of the hotel). Arrived at 7pm, directed by the sign to do down an alley to the hotel but the gate in the alley was locked. No other directions, so the rest was just down to guess work!! The milk was off, so no cup of tea in the room.
Ease of parking. Nice breakfast.
Shower was very poor. Room rather tired.
Good location, comfy and cosy, helpful friendly staff and the food at Loch Fyne downstairs is lovely
Good size room, great location, fantastic breakfast
Central position and size of room.
Location & parking was excellent. Staff service - when we could find any staff was excellent. Hot water was excellent. Breakfast was really good.
Lack of staff around in the morning when trying to get breakfast/check out. Rooms were a little dated... Walls had cracks, carpets a little dirty. Uncomfortable pillows! Too soft, but that's a personal preference.
Lovely & warm. Good choice for breakfast.
Ramshackle arrangement being above the Loch Fyne restaurant. Overused, shabby, poor quality fittings and in desperate need of a refurb. Poor value for money.
Location, Features of the building Breakfast and Breakfast host excellent. Good value for money.
Really difficult to find. Entrance appears to be on the side. Waited there for ten minutes and then asked in Loch Fyne restaurant how to access. It was through the restaurant! Manager on duty unapologetic.
breakfast excellent. Service very good. Location also very nice.
beautiful ceiling in my room
noise from street, very very loud.
Very central, great location
There was a horrid smell when we came back in the evening - think it was the drains. Not pleasant at all. The room although large was rather dated.
Location. Breakfast. Staff.
Couldn't charge my iPhone or iPad due to the plugs being so close to skirting.
Good central location with parking.
Carpets in room were dirty
Ideal central location for town amenities. Staff courteous and friendly. Good sized room. Competitive price.
Not told that toilet was on a different level needing a climb of eight steps which is not good for an older couple.
Location,parking,staff,size of room and restaurant.
Unfortunate smell of drains mainly in bathroom but also permeated through to bedroom. As we were literally only sleeping in the room and not spending too much time in it we didn't think it necessary to comment at the time.
Very comfortable hotel in a great location with personable staff.
Car park had limited spaces and a bit of a squeeze. The adjoining Loch Fyne restaurant served a poor early evening meal, lacking in freshness and probably cook-chill. Disappointing.
