Most cheerful and helpful staff. Interesting early 19th Century building. Loch Fyne restaurant, as always, excellent menu and best way to enter hotel. Used by locals -- always a good sign. Excellent proximity to Henley centre and market.

Bedroom on top (3rd) floor, heavy-going climb for elderly -- our fault for not booking earlier!! "Main" entrance, small door to side of Loch Fyne, very scruffy (hence prefer enter through restaurant). Entrance passageway a store for outside furniture -- but where else?

Right in the centre of Henley in the Market Square. Very reasonably priced room, which was charming with exposed beams. The hotel is an old (listed?) building which has been tastefully renovated with a modern ensuite bathroom. Our room was lovely and airy and the owners even supplied a fan for warmer nights, although we opened the windows. Breakfast was excellent with a huge choice which was cooked to order. Convenient parking outside.

No wifi. Be aware there is no lift to the upper floors, although not a problem for us.

Right in centre. Short walk to river. Very professional staff and very clean room.

Noisy market setup 5.30 am Thursday. Noisy jetwash of street at 6.30 am Friday. Hard to find initially as really boutique rooms above fish restaurant. We had only room without door on bathroom

The rooms were nice and big. Housekeeping lady was lovely and very helpful. Location. Good shower, very powerful. Breakfast.

Receptionist/bar lady not friendly. The guest laying on the floor who we had to climb over while they called an ambulance!! The generator outside making really really loud noise at 6:30 in morning till gone 8am!!

Location great, Spacious bedroom on the top floor. Nice breakfast, Great value for money, would stay again when we visit the area.

Checking in was slow as no one on reception, had to wait for someone to come from the restaurant to give us our key.

Central location, friendly staff, comfortable room.

Very noisy at night from street and also boiler or extractor fan in another room. Very hot (top floor room and no air conditioning) and only one window would open.

Fantastic room on the top floor with amazing vaulted and beamed ceiling. Great location.

The lady that ran the hotel (Emma?) was a little terse and I found her a bit rude. She spoke to me twice and both times I was a little offended by her attitude and felt that I was "being told off" although this could have been a language barrier as I think she was Eastern European. The man who was in charge on Monday morning was much more pleasant to deal with.

Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location. Lovely food in Loch Fyne restaurant attached. Comfortable beddrom.

No real negatives. Bedroom fan did not work on really warm night but it did not spoil our stay....

The room was spacious and we were able to check in early which was good. The bathroom was up some stairs which would be a problem for people with impaired mobility.

Some of the staff were a bit surly. We were locked out at 9.50,even though we were told it was 10pm.the back entrances were full of furniture and our key did not work.We just got in through the restaurant. The room was hot ant the window catch was falling off,so we had to keep the window shut.Seems to have the Green King lack of management and maintenance written all over it.Needs more care and a proper manager.

Central location in Henley and good breakfast.

Requested a twin room but on arrival had a double room as hotel has no twin rooms. Not good for two guys sharing so I ended up sleeping on the floor!

Location - perfect for visiting Henley Regatta- comfortable bed and a ground floor room as I was on crutches (no lift), room was very spacious. Having our breakfast in the Loch Fyne restaurant.

En suite was very tiny - barely enough room to turn around - no where to put anything. No mirror in the bedroom.

Manageress, size of room & location

Uncomfy bed & banging doors from other guests - would recommend doors be fitted with soft closures
