Great location, excellent breakfast.
Basic room, could of been cleaner.
No staff at reception early morning for checkout.
Room was Ok. comfy bed, good shower. A little rudimentary but fine for a single night.
Persistent noise from restaurant below; it could have been turned off, or down, long before the staff finished cleaning up. Promise of a breakfast tray for an early departure was not fulfilled, and no attempt made to explain. Key to outside door did not work - effectively I was locked in.
Location to beaches, easy parking for motorcycle. Breakfast cooked fresh to order
Allocated room small double but was just for one night
The staff were outstandingly polite, helpful and smart, along with the fabulous, fine food and fantastic dining experience, our stay was very enjoyable. Thank you so much.
The room, though very comfortable, could of been cleaner.
Friendly staff, and good food in the restaurant
i regurly dine at loch fyne resturnts here in poole 'portsmouth&winchester so i knew the food would be good. And the accommodation followed suit
nothing was not to my liking
The bed was far too soft and even felt as if it was sloping backwards. Room was quite small too.
Very clean, spacious and comfortable room. Varied options for breakfast, which was delicious nod freshly cooked to order.
Excellent restaurant, excellent staff . Great location . Great price .
Bed too small, but ok Room extremely hot. Fan in room was ok
The room was a good size, had everything you would want, en suite was a good size, had tea and coffee making facilities, bed was really soft, but felt like it could do would turning over as I felt like I was dipping in the middle which wasn't very comfortable.
The food was fantastic, staff were also fantastic.
The rooms were ok but need a really good clean. Also drinks were expensive.
Great Hotel, with very friendly and efficient staff.Very clean ,couldn't fault it.Location was excellent ,only 10 minute walk from beach. Will return if staying in Poole again.
The food and the atmosphere were great. It is well located and good value for money.
The rooms are even smaller than I had realised. The traffic noise was a major issue as the windows had to be kept closed which made the little room stuffy. A bit disappointing as we had particularly requested a quiet room. The street light outside was also a problem as it lit the room at night.
Doors slamming wakes you up constantly.
room food and hotel staff excellent
no window in bath room
Food was really great and staff were very friendly and helpful. Bed very comfortable and good quality sheets
First room extremely small. Seemed very understaffed over a bank holiday weekend when the hotel was fully booked. There was nothing left on the buffet table for breakfast on one occasion and we were not particularly late down but they had run out of fruit salad, pastries and yogurt. It was a bit noisy in the morning when the rubbish was put out. Doors slam noisily because they're too tightly sprung.
Breakfast was excellent, location ideal for the beach and convenient for catching the Jersey ferry. Staff helpful and welcoming. Good value for money.
Excellent food and staff
Room had a slightly damp smell
lovely hotel, fantastic location, scrummy breakfasts. Staff kind and friendly and lovely with my daughter staff tried there best to correct mistakes made - just a pity there were problems
room given not big enough for a travel cot and without a bathroom despite me highlighting it as a special requirement when booking, emailing directly and phoning on morning before arrival to check! room very hot at night
The food was nice.cooked fresh when ordered. Good for the money we paid.staff were great Nothing was to much trouble when asking for something.Would stay there again.
Towels were small.Near a busy road.
Nice and clean, good breakfast, probably better suited to tourists than a business traveler
Very small room for the price
The room was clean, small but functional with a comfy bed. Very quaint building above a wonderful restaurant with lovely food.
The seagulls squawking at 6am!
The Hotel was situated a short distance from the Harbor and Shops. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and pleasant and the bed comfortable. The Hotel it's self had a nice atmosphere. The Breakfast was good and set us up for the journey home.
The only thing we didn't like, was nothing to do with the Hotel it's self. It was unfortunately inconsiderate people staying at the Hotel and keeping us awake with the TV on loud, until after midnight. Then the same people waking us up very early in the morning ( Before six o'clock ) with loud talking, laughing and shutting of doors. I know people go on holiday to enjoy themselves, but when in a Hotel/ B+B they should consider other residents in the rooms close to them...other than that, we had a great time in Poole.
