Comfortable room Good nights sleep Very nice breakfast
Service, good room & restaurant.
Parking across the road & I was given the wrong gate code!
Clean bright and very relaxing place to be, staff are friendly and always helplful, rooms are very spacious and lovely warm pool.
Very friendly staff and comfortable bed. Would stay there again.
On the map it looked as though the hotel might not be accessed from Argyle St. so we walked from Central station down to Broomielaw then along to Washungton St. only to discover that there were steps down from Argyle St. to the hotel that would have saved us about a 10 min. walk. Perhaps the hotel could make that clear for train users.
My wife and I have stayed here quite a few times now over the past several years and have always been very happy with the hotel, the food, and the friendly and efficient staff. We keep coming back for more so I guess that must say something:-)
Can't think of anything!
This hotel is conveniently situated for city centre activities. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Spacious rooms with great facilities. Would stay again.
King sized bed and spacious room. Fridge for use by the guest and the air conditioning control which worked. The hotel and our room overlooked the motorway flyover but there was no noise ingress into the room.
Only an issue on first arrival but a prominent sign when approaching along Argyle Street would be useful. The one sign that there is is misleading!
Reception staff were very helpful.
Female bar staff lacked motivation to be helpful and respond to basic duties.
First time staying at this hotel . Tucked all the boxes for a trip we have every year . I would definitely stay again and again.
Good rooms, good price, good location, good value for money
Car parking onsite £4 for 24 hours. good breakfast
Could hear the people in room next door banging drawers which woke me up. Could smell the chlorine from hotel pool in corridors
the pool and jacuzzia
the room was roasting but air con wasnt great
We asked for a room on a high floor overlooking the river got what we asked for, the room was massive more than enough room for me and my daughter, fantastic, staff very friendly. We also had a massage and a facial which was excellent, would definitely recomend this hotel and would certainly stay again.
Bathroom needs updating.
Only down side was the bar prices just a little over priced
Good location Facilities Breakfast Service from staff Kenny gets a special mention for being so helpful at reception when we arrived
The bed size and comfort.
Television size, no films on demand
Unable to fine because of Christmas functions
Decent sized bed Large room Easy access to SECC / Hydro
Very abrupt front of house staff Met with hostility every time we approached them for directions, taxi service etc Shower in bad need of an upgrade
big room, comfortable service good and staff attentive good breakfast
heating didn't work... cold all night despite staff attempts to fix it no mini bar badly cracked wash basin in bathroom
So easy to arrive at the hotel from the M8. We travelled down from Inverness, and the hotel is literally 200 m from the motorway. Reception is set out perfectly. We ordered fish and chips from the bar menu. Very tasty, and decent sized portion. I would not hesitate to use this hotel again. Perfect location for Glasgow centre, and SEC Hydro.
The queue for breakfast at 9 am was long, although this was mentioned in breakfast times. Maybe worth extending the breakfast time until 10.30 am, it might alleviate the rush. Tea bag used at breakfast time was not the tastiest, however the cooked breakfast was fine.
The staff are always friendly and helpful been here loads of times will definitely be back. So clean and safe everyone should try if stayng in Glasgow.
Liked our room. enjoyed our meal in the restaurant.
Good location - close to motorway, with secure parking and only 10/15 minutes walk to city centre. Room surprisingly quiet for city location. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Lighting in room was poor. The booking.com site needs updating for parking charges - £5 (not £4, as advertised).
pool great and easily accessible free upgrade on room unexpected
things looking a bit worn, tired
studio apartment well equipped mini bar stocked with goodies really spacious loved fluffy robes
no where to hang coats - coat hooks required settees could be comfier
