I stay away 2-3 nights a week, normally in large chain/group hotels. This made a very welcome change. The Hotle offers: The Most friendly owners you will ever meet. I was made to feel very welcome. The most fantastic B'fast you can eat and with as many options as you can think of. Would stay every time when I am in Swansea. Very Minor issue, as this is a town house you may not always be able to park directly outside the hotel, however free parking is available along the street.

The Mirador is a quirky, fun b&b with great eye catching rooms. We stayed in the Oriental suite which comprised entrance lobby, lounge, en- suite & large bedroom. On street parking is limited, but Phil had reserved us a parking space directly outside the property. Phil & Jeanette were great hosts, recommending a great restaurant and wine bar for the evening. Breakfast choice was extensive & cooked to order. A great start to the day before walking the Gower coastline On hearing we were visiting my daughter at the university they invited her over for complimentary breakfast with us. This really was going the extra mile. If you're looking for something out of the ordinary & excellent hosts, you cant go wrong with The Mirrador. Thanks P&J for a great break

The hotel is unique as the owners have individually designed each room - they have then thought of additional / extra services and provide DVD & CD players in each room with access to a well stocked library, they have also stocked each room with a wide selection of teas & coffee's which they replenish for free on request and traveller essentials such as soaps, razor, etc

The personal service from Phil at the Mirador was absolutely fantastic. I received a call on my mobile ahead of arrival in relation to a question I'd asked when I made my booking, and lots of good advice upon arrival regarding surrounding facilities. The room was great, and the breakfast was outstanding. Wholeheartedly recommended.

Very well designed and decorated rooms. Really unusual but very homely nonethless. Impeccable attention to detail and spotlessly clean.

As you will see when you stay there the couple that own the property do the simple things well with a smile but have also gone out of their way to make the guest welcome , at home and comfortable. I was there on business so it made a change from the impersonal brands that I normally stay at, whilst also giving me somewhere to consider should I visit the Gower again.

I had seen the pictures of the different rooms and thought WOW this is the sort of place I'd love to stay in. I read the reviews and they were very positive. I booked this guest house for a birthday treat for my husband and we were not dissappointed... it is fantastic, love the decor, the owners have a good eye for detail, the rooms are WOW, the owners are very friendly and make you welcome, nothing too much trouble, cooked breakfast is what you want, gorgeous cats and cuty doggie, loved it, would recommend and will deffo go back A*****

Met at the door by Phil and his lovely wife. Charming hosts and they made us most welcome, The room certainly had character, we were in the Spanish room, and the bathroom was spacious and well equipped. A good selection of in-room teas and coffees. Flat screen tv in the bedroom with cable and good wifi reception (free) throughout the building. An excellent breakfast which also catered for vegetarians. I'd certainly stay here again. The only thing that prevents me giving 10/10 is that the floorboards in the room above creaked when anyone walked on them.

The Mirador was excellent. Our room was very clean and very unique. We had a really good stay here and found Phil and Jeanette (the owners) very friendly and welcoming. Phil offered us some great ideas and recomendations throughout our stay. We really appreciated them welcoming us into their home and offering such attentive service. The decor throughout is very unusual and yet I think this is part of the charm and what sets this place apart from staying in a normal Travelodge, Premier Inn, and the like. Oh, and the breakfast......it will beat your appetite! No matter how hard you try!

The Mirador was excellent in every way. From the moment you arrived you were made to feel very welcome your hosts are very nice. The room we had was the roman room and it was really nice and next time we stay we are going to try the french connection room. The breakfast was individually tailored to each guest and was plentiful in supply. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts they definitely go the extra mile.

I had a brilliant stay, ate like a queen, slept like a log and the owners are wonderful. It's a great location to get to Swansea University and to shop in the Uplands area. You pretty much don't want anything else! My room had its own outside terrace, which was lovely too. Would recommend for sure.

The whole hotel was decorated in a fabulously funky individual style which was what attracted us in the first place. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful and our room which was decorated with a Spanish theme was spacious and well equipped. The extra touches such as spare toiletries and decent amounts of tea/coffee were a good idea.

Lovely and unusual guest house-very interesting room and a very friendly welcome. Our hosts were very accommodating with lots of information about the locality and the breakfast was delicious. Would definitely visit again. We found its locality very useful as Swansea Uni was just a short drive away
