Really friendly and welcoming. Lovely furnishings, location and view
Would have liked more choice on the breakfast buffet…eg. fresh fruit, greek yogurt, danish pastries.
Lovely ambience. Super staff. The view from the bar and restaurant, looking out over the gardens to the sea. Stylish and comfortable rooms. The breakfast & evening meal were delicious.
beach side and near city center
Our room next to house keeping and above kitchen [ noisy ]
Nice room with all the facilities friendly and helpful staff Good breakfast in the dining room looking over the garden Ideal location
not a lot, however the lift could do with updating The coloured lights around the entrance made me think I was about to enter a night club and once inside the lift it was so dark I had trouble reading the numbers on the buttons
We were the youngest there. Too many wheelchairs
No excercise facilities, but not a major shortfall with the beech walks on the doorstep
the hotel was in a great location with good facilities and every one of the staff were a credit to the owner we will return
There was a deal of noise from , e think, the room above, both in the early hours and at 6 - 7 am.
nice clean bathroom and bed and nice polite staff.
there was no evening entertainment.
All of it..Amazing place
Staff were very helpful and friendly Room was very clean, cosy and comfortable Excellent location
Could hear people in three other rooms, quite noisy at times. Room was at the back of the hotel
Love the Miramar, can't wait to go back again. It's our second visit, staff very friendly, helpful and efficient. Slight disappointment with dinner service.
Staff were very friendly, room was lovely, excellent hotel.
Very hot in the room and couldn't turn radiator down
Everything about The Hotel Miramar was excellent. Easy access to Bournemouth town centre. We had a lovely sea view which although we paid a small amount more for was worth doing. We will definitely book that hotel again..
No dislikes everything was perfect.
the hotel heating was far to hot and we could not sleep.
- Close to beach and city centre - Helpful staff - Clean room with a homely feel
- No bath in room - Requested a sea view room then received a phone call a few hours later asking for an extra £5 for the privilege, this came across as a bit of a cheap tactic to earn a few extra pounds.
The noisiest thing we have in the country is the occasional cow mooing....but I slept like a log as there was no outside noise at all. I would visit again!
It was perfect on a cold wet November Night Hotel warm and cosy
The fact no indoor or outdoor swimming pool.
We loved the balcony with it's wonderful view. The bed was comfortable and room nicely furnished.
The food lets the hotel down with tinned potatoes on the plate. The fish was lovely but the whole meal seemed more suited to an older person's palate as did much if the menu. For such a nice hotel I felt the food lagged behind
the location is perfect for any one who visit Bournemouth, very close to everything that you would want.
This hotels policy is to put outside clients first before their residents on arrival I had to wait until 3 00 to have my room where it said that on a Saturday you may have it at 2 00 also I requested to book a table for Sunday dinner when I was told it was fully booked I asked why was this and the answer I got was it was very popular with out side people I thought this was very poor as I would have thought being a resident I would have had priority there is nothing on there web site explaining that if you wish to want to book for Sunday lunch then book early as outside public will be booking tables, this hotel is also very noisy with banging doors as most of them are poorly fitted also windows rattle noisily and the hotel is very hot hence having to have windows open most of the time, there is no way that this hotel justifies a four star rating maybe for people wishing to have Sunday lunch but definitely not for its residents, also the hotel management somewhat smug.
lift wasnt working...long walk to room upstairs with bags.no help offered.room small and soooo hot ...breakfast not its usual standard.been staying here for 20 odd years...will be my last time.have they changed hands?
Comfy beds Exquisite food. Polite and helpful staff
Everything, the staff were friendly and welcoming all of the time, they could not make your stay more pleasant, nothing was a problem for them, they just did it. The food was always hot and quickly served and the menu varied
No complaints at all
We were shown to our room and our bag was carried for us. Nice areas to relax with a drink or afternoon tea with a pianist. Felt very traditional but homely. Room was large, comfortable and clean. Great seaside views and gardens.
