The rooms in the hotel are very comfortable, and the hotel is in a great location.
The staff at the hotel weren't the best, waited a long time to be served despite having several staff on duty.
The bed was luxurious; all staff were very friendly, I could have breakfast in my room, they ordered a newspaper for me, the garden was beautiful, the seaview was fantastic, it was a perfect location, just don' t tell everyone!
The door was a little bit stiff, the bath was a bit small and it was a little bit hot during the night.
No spa facilities
The staff were friendly and very efficient. Good size room. Great toiletries.
Plumbing really noisy, it woke me up at around 6-30am and I guess was when other guests were showering as it was on and off for several hours for around 5 - 10 minutes each time. The view was of the side of another building which was a shame.
Nothing to dislike - all good.
Service from staff was top notch. A classy looking place in a great location. Nice grounds to relax in and great off road parking.
Dinner package was overpriced. Air conditioning in the rooms would be a good improvement.
Hotel was beautiful inside and out especially the garden in the back & the lobby looked very classy, also all staff were very helpful and respectful
The amount of breakfast provided, it's like they attempt to make you starve so that you have to pay for an extra meal also the fact that I payed for a day stay but I had to check out at the time provided by them and not of my choice on the day of check out.
Great location and lovely views. We stayed there as I was running The Bournemouth marathon and the location was perfect. The finish line was just at the bottom of the road. Would definetaly stay here again!
Lack of fresh fruit at breakfast due to medication unable to eat grapefruit so therefore the choice was very limited
Staff were very polite and helpful. Food excellent and service in the dining room good. Lovely comfortable bed and very clean room. Good information about Bournemouth and its facilities.
Very hilly location and therefore extremely tiring. No information about the bus service.
Pleasant well trained a helpful staff, very pleasant surroundings, lovely location close to beach, shops, entertainment.
Some noisy wedding guests, who shouted and laughed out in the car park until nearly 4oclock in the morning
Location Gardens Catering Staff
Meals Quite Expensive
Great location, just a 10 minute leisurely walk to sea front and all attractions. Food in Restaurant was really very good with very attentive staff. Lovely outside seating areas.
Leaving, should have stayed for longer.
We attended a lovely wedding occasion and thought the hotel did all they could to make it a stress free day.
Being charged 3 times for 1 round of drinks! Although the man at reception was very apologetic and organised a new and revised bill.
Lovely hotel and great location with very friendly staff and they accepted dogs!
When we arrived we were told we had the evening meal and a breakfast included in the price. We had lovely evening meal only to be charged £70 for the meal on check out. Very disappointing and soured whole visit
Staff were excellent Everything perfect
Everything. The staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast superb, all in all a really excellent hotel. I'll be going back.
The garden overlooking the sea. Big bed.
Shower wasn't hot in the morning. Not sure why one overnight stay was so expensive. Wasn't any better than a similar hotel I stayed in in the New Forest for about £40 cheaper. Breakfast wasn't a buffet type.
Welcome was very friendly. Breakfast was delicious. Rooms very comfy and well equipped. Everything was spotlessly clean. Garden and terrace views beautiful. Would definitely come again.
Service at bar could have been better, there was a wedding on and they needed more staff serving. Temperature in bars, corridors and restaurant a bit hot and airless, but I got the impression they are catering to mainly the oap market so understandable. Bedroom not so hot and lovely and airy so that was ok.
Very friendly staff (especially Lyn on Reception and night porter John). Fabulous location close to town centre. Stunning garden grounds. Delicious food. And the comfiest bed ever!!!!
£25 per night for a dog-friendly hotel a bit extortionate! Also being told we had to order within ten minutes (at 8.25pm) when food was available until 9pm - and to then see food orders being taken after 9pm the next night!
The bed was comfortable and the linen quality was good. The food was well presented and well cooked. The breakfast coffee was good when it eventually arrived. Why couldn't we be given a coffee pot in the same way that tea drinkers were given a tea pot ?
We didn't like being charged in full at the time of booking over the internet - 10 weeks before our stay! Nor did we appreciate being obliged to tender our credit card and have a pre-authorisation charge of £150 posted upon arrival - which has yet to be returned/cancelled. Room 202 was was far from roomy and the bathroom so compact that we had to remove the toilet roll from its holder in order to sit upright on the toilet. Far from satisfactory which is why we cannot recommend the hotel to others.
The location was great and the warm welcome was appreciated. The hotel was clean and the gardens were lovely. Food good and good value.
It took a while a times to be serve drinks.
Room were smelling cigarrete. Poor rooms and no swimming pool
Cost of alcohol very expensive Toiletries are of poor quality Hotel was very hot in the bedroom despite all windows open
next doors shower very loud
