The location and hotel grounds were excellent.

The double room was small,no chair to sit on,the mugs were dirty. The cooked breakfast and coffee were very bland.

Beautiful grounds and main building. Close to M40. Lovely village.

Accommodation building was like a student hall of residence. It was very hot, but we did get a discount when we complained.

The hotel had not received an e-mail confirming my book from Booking.Com because there printer wasn't working. After an 2 1/2hr drive I would not have been happy if they was no room for me luckily there was.

Location of hotel superb, lovely grounds, the main building was beautiful. Room clean although very small, not in keeping with the main hotel reception.

The shape and size of the room. Ideal if you are attending a conference ,but not for the holiday maker. purpose built for this. Quite tired, furnishing and carpets could do with an update.

The location of the hotel was good as we were en route to London and wanted to explore some nearby National Trust properties for a couple of days. We also enjoyed the beautiful building and grounds and village. My partner enjoyed the continental option of breakfast.

The rooms were detached from main building and although only a minimal walk we were only given vague instructions on how to find our room by the girl on reception. The room itself (G24) i found quite small and the bathroom was ridiculously so with everything seemingly crammed into a small space, each time i used the wash basin i caught my head on the glass shelf above it!! Even worse was the shower, which,at 6ft 3" and 17 stones,i found just about impossible to move in. The buffet style breakfast (cooked) wasn't great everything looked a day old though there was a slight improvement on day two. I did note in general, that this place was widely referred to as a conference centre as opposed to hotel and i think this showed, overall.

The location. Reception staff helpful and professional

Cleanliness was poor; not hoovered properly, linen smelt dirty, blood on our toilet basin. Breakfast was tasteless and bacon was off. Waiting staff not helpful

Location, the exterior of the main building.

The reception personnel is totally unfriendly and even rude, esp the blonde girl that was there this week. We are 4 but got so small rooms, opposite the cleaning and reservoir room, so noise from 6:30 in the morning, corridor jammed with piles of bags, towels for one in each room, both rooms were completely worn out, blood stains on the linen (really ??!), breakfast at 9 are a bit dry leftovers, tables aren't even cleaned, this is one of the worst hotels ever been (which are quite a lot), absolutely not worth of 3stars - only a nice facade and location does not make a nice hotel, management !

We stayed at Missenden Abbey on a last night of a long trip before going to the airport. The staff were extrememly helpful and the food good and the room and food were exceptional value for money.

The access to the car park was locked so we had to go around the long way with our baggage.

Beautiful grounds, more than adequate facilities for our purposes.

Would have liked a little more information about the Abbey itself and its conversion for use as an Adult Education Centre. The staff knew nothing about the Missenden Wedgwood!! Ensuite bathroom needed a little more cleaning attention, but was acceptable. Felt the breakfast choice was limited and repetitive, but again acceptable. We stayed there over one of the hottest summer days and found even the lightweight duvet too hot - a top sheet would have solved that!

Lovely grounds, convenient location for things we wanted to see nearby, easy to find, good parking. Roomy clean rooms in the conference suite with everything one needed. Nice to be able to look at the abbey when going for breakfast.

    It rained!
