Very smart design hotel. Excellent location within walking distance of castle, shopping etc. Staff were very polite, helpful and professional. Bar staff worked very hard at busy times but still managed to be pleasant and provide good service. Great cocktails!

Fantastic hotel and rooms, extremely nice staff, great service

Staff were friendly and very helpful. Loved the modern design of the room and hotel. Especially loved the coffee machine in the room , the comfy bed and the delicious breakfast.

A swimming pool would make it even better.

Our dinner in the hotel restaurant was disappointing. The food for the price was subpar. We ate at the Outsider (recommended by your staff) and in comparision it was delicious and good value.

My husband and I visited Edinburgh for a long weekend in April and after significant research and debate, we chose to stay at Hotel Missoni for 3 nights. I was a bit skeptical of the design aspect (even though I do enjoy contemporary, sleep styling), but decided to try it out based on the very nice reviews. And we are so glad we did! It was the perfect hotel for us - great service, nice breakfast, great bar, nice and tasteful decor, clean rooms and bathrooms, and all in an excellent location. I can be a tough hotel critic at times, but I don't have any regrets about our stay at Hotel Missoni. Thanks to the staff for a lovely stay!

Fantastic hotel was blown away with it,so fresh and different,staff were so chilled and friendly.

The breakfast! Had better at a weather spoon, bland,slow service not worth paying if it's not in room price.

What a great place to stay! The design of the lobby, restaurants and indivdual rooms is beautiful and the rooms themselves are very comfortable as well. The mini-bar and the espresso machine offer a nice little treat when you have spent the day walking around Edinburgh. And, what a surprise to find heated floors in the bathroom...which was also well equipped with great toiletries. The location is a big plus with so much available within just a few minutes walk...there is Royal Mile or Grass Market and Edinburgh Castle or Holyrood Palace on the oppostie end. Old Town is charming to stroll through and this hotel is right in the midst of it all. When I return to Edinburgh, I hope to stay here again.

Depending on your room location, it can be a big noisy with the bagpipe player on High Street.

Exceptionally helpful and efficient staff. Hotel very attractive and unique. Much more interesting than the usual hotel chains. Lots of extras- Nespresso machine, free wifi, free minibar, good quality toiletries. Restaurant excellent-staff and food faultless. One of the nicest hotels I have been to and I have travelled extensively.
