Food, breakfast was poor and badly presented for the money. 1 rasher of bacon, half a mushroom. small sausage, and very poorly cooked eggs had been kept warm for ages and were rock hard and crispy.

Everything was perfect!

Location Design

Located in Royal Mile's street, quite near from Edinburgh castle, luxury room and decoration.

Everything is perfect in hotel. But do not tell the ladies who are too sensitive for the ghost story, the famous Mary King street is not far from here ^_^.

No pool

The staff were lovely, nothing was too much trouble. The coffee machine did not work and wine and beer were left in our room by way of an apology. The food in the restaurant both at breakfast and dinner was excellent and there was plenty to choose from.

Although we complained repeatedly about the coffee machine not working and everyone was very polite and helpful, it was neither fixed nor replaced. Although we could have afforded it, we thought that the prices for bottles of wine were far too expensive for what they were. On looking around an awful lot of the other diners must have thought so as well - we have never been in a restaurant before where there were so few people drinking wine. We had a glass of wine each with our meal and then went around the corner to a very nice pub where we paid less than half the amount.

The design of the hotel, the staff were lovely and very helpful. We didn't eat there or use the spa so didn't experience the full Missoni experience.

The hotel is perfect, just in the middle of the city, next to everything. The hotel is very confortable and clean, the staff is very friendly and the restaurant and bar are very nice. The wifi worked very well.

The young staff are enormously friendly and helpful. At breakfast there were between 6 and 8 members of staff on duty to serve and help customers, and nothing was too much trouble. It was our second stay at the Missoni, and we would have no hesitation in returning.

Friendly, helpful staff. Very cool design, excellent location. Breakfast was lovely -eggs benedict on a hotel menu! Civilised check out time of noon!

Very hot! Had to leave air con on in room most of the day to have a decent sleep.

no fresh air - the window didn t open and it was too hot. But we were told that if we d requested a room with a widow on booking we d have got one. I m just used to having rooms with windows that open so would not see this as having a special request

Location, so central-easy to walk to Castle, National Museum, University etc. Staff were extremely helpful and genuinely cheerful-it has a lovely atmosphere. Great cocktails!
