Campanile Milton Keynes - Fenny Stratford  

Room shabby, the toilet was dirty. Tv - only channel 5 worked. Staff not terribly helpful - male member of staff seemed to think it was amusing when I asked if it was the only Campanile in the area when I rang for a taxi in the morning. I have never stayed in a Campanile before... Not sure I would again .

My room was fine but everything else was appalling especially the staff. I arrived at just gone 5pm, was informed dinner started at 7 so I killed time till then. I was first to order and waited 50 minutes for a burger and chips, all I wanted to do was take it back to room. After the 2nd burger I took it back to my room to find the burger was so tough I couldn't eat and had to take it back for a refund as I was not waiting another 50 minutes. At this point its gone 8pm and I had to walk to a local supermarket to get my dinner. I found the bar staff were a bunch of kids who didn't know what to do, no organisation, no one seem to be in charge, the poor boy behind the bar seemed new and only got spoken to when he did something wrong and was told off in front of your customers, it seemed he had to find things out for himself. The lady on reception was rude in the way she speaks to me and others, I felt like I was a complete inconvenience to her asking any questions at all. I wont be staying hear again. They also sold the room to me as breakfast included but when I arrived told me they I had to pay extra for a cooked one which I was not happy with as this should be advertised

Very well trained (French and local) staff. Very good buffet breakfast. and good value restaurant. Had three evening meals and enjoyed them all. Good location for motorway/main routes.

We chose this Campanile because of its easy access to Bletchley Park and were really surprised at the high standard of service at this hotel. Years ago we would stay on our travels through France in Campanile hotels and they were always of a good standard. The restaurant still has that French feel with a great continental breakfast, stunning croissants, apricot preserves etc., a real fresh fruit salad too! Staff were attentive and polite. There was only one minus - as with all these purpose built places, we could hear people coming and going, slamming doors etc., but it was a Saturday night and one or two people had been partying. Highly recommend though.

The decor is out of date and poor. The rooms do not appear clean with very dirty, stained carpets

Didnt like the beer tasted bad and flat tried the two beers on tap and both pints got left think some one needs to take responsability for the pipe cleaning.but not to worry as five mins walk down the road in fenny stratford you have a choice of pubs serving excellant beer .

We wanted to user the hotel next year for a wedding party but they do not have rooms to accommodate families

My sons girlfriend came from Aberdeen and it was convenient for them both

The breakfast wasn't very good: Checked in for breakfast, filled in a slip to indicate my requirements, but staff did not advise anything regarding the rest of the buffet. No bowls, plates, cups or teaspoons available initially and then they appeared in stages with no apology. Ruuny scrambled eggs, runny beans and just cooked bacon Not worth £8.50; McDonalds would have been better vfm

It is near the m/ way .we are comfortable there. we have stayed at Campanile many times in France & England over the last 30 years.

It was wonderful and I enjoyed it very much. The staff were great, helpful and friendly and the food was wonderful. I would like to thank all the staff at the campanile fenny stratford.
