Proximity to city center. Proximity to the Cam river. I did not like the fact that one has to pay for internet service. It should be complimentary, especially at the business center. |

The location of the hotel in Cambridge - in city centre. The modern decor in rooms and restaurant. The view of the river from the hotel That we were woken up at 7am by the lorry collecting bottles + the curtains couldn't be pulled across the windows - there was no way of blocking out light. |

Location, and pool There was an all night ball taking part in the college next to the hotel which stopped us sleeping. There was no opportunity to change room as the hotel was full and our room was on the 1st floor overlooking the hotel. Even with ear plugs and a pillow over my head I could not sleep the noise was so loud. I should have been warned about it prior to my booking. |

The location and facilities are good. The staff are well-trained and pleasant but there are not enough staff in the bar. When I arrived, checked in and went up to my room, the chambermaid was still making it up. I felt that there were too few staff in the Terrace Bar - the bar was stacked with empty glasses etc late in the evening, and it took a very long time to get the attention of a waitress the following morning to order coffee on the lawn. |

The vicinity to the canal was very nice. Especially sitting in the garden which is close to the canal. Prices of beverages are fair. |

Beautiful location overlooking the river. Extremely professional and friendly staff. Met with a warm chocolate chip cookie which after an early train trip without breakfast was great On 3rd floor - water pressure a bit poor! |

The location overlooking the river is excellent and very convenient for visiting the colleges. The restaurant is very good. The bedroom and bathroom were very small and cramped for this clas of hotel and associated prices. |

Comfortable relaxing stay where we were made to feel welcome by friendly and helpful staff. Hotel ideally situated for a visit to Cambridge with good health club facilities to enjoy after a day sightseeing and shopping. |

We really enjoyed the leisure facilities and the location of the hotel with it being right in the centre of Cambridge. The staff at the hotel were not helpful and did not give us general information when we arrived like for example the time breakfast was served. I thought in general the staff were poorly trained and not customer friendly. The price of the rooms does not reflect the service which was below the standard you would expect of a 4 star hotel. |

Very nice location, pleasant and helpful staff and good general facilities, sauna and pool area good. At the bar an American guest enquired about the selection of beers-it occured to me that all the bottled beers and all but Boddintons were foreign and I wondered why you didn't have the excellent local beers such as Abbot Ale or Adnams-they would add special location you have. |

The friendliness of the staff and the public areas - the bar etc with its views of the river are very pleasant and comfortable. Lots of things wrong with the room - curtains that did not close, net curtain that was dark grey with dirt - mattress that hung over the edge of the bed. Promised a room with a view of Peterhouse but the view was really of the car park which was floodlit at night, so the room was never dark. I felt that all the money had been spent on show and the public areas. |
