Efficient staff, good value three course dinner Wheelchair accessible room needs more thought in |Bathroom - basin needs to be higher ? possibility of wet room floor so less able can have a shower even if they can not get into the bath |

The service is the highlight of this hotel. The staff are extremely helpful and polite and go out of their way to provide good service. The bed was a bit hard for my liking.. |

The staff were excellent, The bathroom had a funny smell and I complained they delt with it straight away. a cleaner came and gave the bathroom a good clean, she asked me to check before she left. Parking at the hotel is very expensive £17.50 for 24 hours |

Extremely convenient location close to the centre of the town and with ample guest car parking, which is a considerable bonus in Cambridge. The hotel offers high standards of comfort and cleanliness. Corridors to hotel rooms seemed to be partially obsructed by cleaning staff etc. at times of the day I would not have expected - but this was not a major issue. |

Room was very comfortable, with bath and view over the river Cam, as requested when booking. Standard of staff was indifferent, particularly by comparison with the staff in hotels in Germany and Switzerland in which I have stayed in the past few weeks. Also I do not like being told which tables I can, or cannot, sit at for breakfast, being directed from a vacant table near the window (which remained vacant throughout) to a table near the serving tables. Again, this problem doesn't happen in European hotels.. |

Lack of middle management, both in the restaurant and the bedrooms. The working staff were left to their own devices and often did not speak english. |

The design of the hotel main areas, the quality of the food and hotel's convenience for Cambridge city centre. Our bathroom needed updating. Athough food in restaurant was of a high standard, it was overpriced and some portions were very small. |

It was the perfect hotel for visiting Cambridge. We didn't need the car as sights, restaurants, etc. are within short walking distance. Centrally located and yet very quiet. Very helpful and friendly staff. Nice rooms and big beds! There seems to be a problem with water pressure on 3rd floor. It took quite long to shower as the shower had no power at all and occasional air instead of water came out of the tap at the sink. But it didn't spoil our stay. |

As you would expect at this price, it was a pleasure to stay here. The staff were particularly helpful and friendly, and the bar and restaurant are both very good. |

Hotel staff was very helpful and friendly what usually is not expected from great range hotels where staff is a bit more "solemn" and cold (standard attitude and behaviour). I asked for a room with a view and they gave me a room with a balcony and a lovely view from river Cam. I would come back to Doubletree for sure. |

Excellent location, peaceful, relaxing, spa facilities and dining facilities. My wife and I longed for hot water, instead of which, we endured warm to cold bath, shower and shaving despite all efforts of staff to remedy this. Just an unfortunate experience for such a superb hotel. |

Proximity to city centre, setting by hte river, ease of parking and ability to come and go from it, quality of room. Could have done with more generous shampoo/soap containers. |
