Tracy was extremely friendly and accommodating, very helpful with tips and advice. Everything was so easy and hassle-free! All the important sites are 30 minutes from here. Definitely will come back and recommend to all.
Complimentary cream tea and tea/coffee on arrival Large room, comfortable beds, piping hot water Plenty of choice for all meals. Lovely cooked breakfast with unlimited coffee and tea Fruit and chocolates in the room as well as a nip of the hard stuff if wanted Fairly quiet at the Manor House as there is only one road nearby, plenty of room to take a stroll around the grounds before bedtime Plenty of room for parking Tracey and Steve made us feel very welcome and comfortable
Couldn't find one thing lacking
Delightful location. Convenient to many interesting attractions. Pleasantly tranquil. Period decor very attractive. Staff ensured that our visit was enjoyable.
Very child friendly
Size of room was too small for the price
Tracey is the most wonderful guest, she makes you feel at home and is both helpful and discreet. Breakfast is fantastic!
Quiet room Comfortable bed Tea coffee etc plus chocolates fruit , biscuits and brandy! Large selection of DVD's Excellent food both breakfast and evening meals were very substantial.
Little things that matter like plenty of mirrors, comfortable bed, cleanliness, nice touches like fruit, water & chocolates left in the room. You felt looked after.
This is a beautiful old house, tastefully re-furnished, where necessary, maintaining old beams etc., wherever possible. It is really near to Sandwich, where you can visit all the listed buildings. Breakfast was excellent.
Friendliness of staff Cleanliness of room Gratis Internet availability
Breakfast was just average. There was road construction which made it hard to find the place, on several occasions. There was no upfront warning about this, lost a few hours. 1St morning the warm water in the shower didn't work. The hot water handle broke off. Not good. At 70 quid/night, way overpriced - especially since the room didn't have toilet/bath/shower en-suite. Reminded me of ymca or Youth Hostel config. For 70 a night, I have stayed at hotels that were better.
beautiful manor house, Tracy and Steve were both wonderful hosts with Steve even dropping us into Sandwich for the evening. The scones and tea on our arrival were a delicious surprise....warm scones with jam and clotted cream sooo nice.
There really was not anything not to like.
All of it
Locating the Manor House. a detailed map would be a great help
The location was very quiet. The staff were very welcoming with a delicious cream tea complete with warm scones as soon as I arrived. The room was comfortable and the bathroom quite modern and clean. The breakfast was also delicious with fresh croissants. I enjoyed the character of the house and the staff went out of their way to make me feel at home.
Only be able to stay for one night, I would have liked a lot longer to spend in the area.
Too expensive small room
Friendly staff. Very comfortable. Good location. Good food.
Nets at the windows would have been nice as we had the draw the curtains to prevent others from seeing into our room.
Family are most hospitable Breakfast good Beautiful house and grounds Easy access to coast
Friendly hospitality. Great food. Accommodation extremely comfortable. A great welcome. We couldn't ask for more. Will definitely stay again.
Cream tea on arrival! Offered lift into Sandwich. Quiet location
Hair in breakfast!
Flexibility of staff
Great base from which to explore the surrounding area. Friendly helpful staff.
Wonderful staff, especially breakfast! Had a delicious stay, thank you.
Everything was brilliant. Will recommend and will revisit
Very friendly and child friendly. Rooms beautifully furnished.
A pleasure to spend time in this lovingly restored manor house in a superb location for exploring East Kent. We were made extremely welcome by the happy friendly owners. The rooms were very comfortable and we really appreciated the little luxurious touches like the welcome basket of goodies, fluffy towels and bathrobes and good quality bathroom products that we would usually expect in a 5 star hotel. It was a fantastic experience. We loved the carefully prepared food, the honesty bar and the determination of our hosts to give us a lovely holiday. We would highly recommend this property. You would not be disappointed.
An excellent accommodation! I enjoyed my welcoming (Spitfire) ale in the garden after a long day's drive. The room had a great bed and satelite tv. Good parking space for the car on the premises. The bathroom had a great shower and breakfast was again a treat. When returning to the Eastern part of Kent I will definetly choose this B&B. It's simply the best!
