Monarch Hotel  

We had a good sea view.the spa is just across the road,and restaurants and shops are only a short walk away.also the entertainment was very good,and very friendly staff.A Very good choice for breakfast.Definetly book again..lesley ..

i chose this hotel was it was stones throw away from the Spa, which was perfect as we were seeing the Vaccines there.. another huge factor was the limited free parking spaces which, on arrival, the member of staff on reception helped me with. overall location is good, perfect for the Spa and Beach/seafront.. tho other than that, i was told the main area was about a 15/20 walk north, but this will be a nice walk. hotel wise - all staff i came in contact with were friendly and very helpfull. its mainly full of older couples but all ages are welcome so dont let that put you off. room are nice and a good size, we had a sea view room tho only stayed 1 night but its perfect for even a longer stay. we didnt use the restuarant so cant comment on that tho it was fairly busy when we were sat in the bar - which has a good selection of drinks. its guarded 24/7, the night staff are there too let you in if you're back after the doors are locked... i heard little noise from the road outside! i'd happily stay there again if i ever find myself going back for another gig :)

The staff were all very friendly, Evening entertainment excellent. The Person who organised and joined in the entertainment was exceeding good at her job and new exactly what was needed. Hotel Manager was very efficient and ready to help and make sure everything was to a high standard.

There was noting I did not like, it far exceeds some of the other hotels in the area, I would certainly return if in that area again.

it is central and value for money, a clean hotel with friendly staff we would stop again and recomend it to anyone.

In a nutshell the monarch hotel is managed by a dedicated team of professionals who have the ability to make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in the door.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was good value for money in an excellent location for our trip.

On first entering our room it had a smell a bit like an old persons care home and this seemed to permeate each floor - but the smell did seem to diminish during the evening.

Basically the Monarch Hotel chose us as it was the only hotel that had 2 vacant single rooms. There was also a "Turkey and Tinsel" party staying. Despite all that I would gladly rebook next time I am going to Bridlington in the new year, excellent service, good location and not too expensive. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Friendly, good breakfast, clean and has free parking. It's a budget hotel so don't expect luxury - it a nice place and yes it needs some tlc - you pay for what you get and it's good.

Xmas decorations and it's only October.....

The room was very tired and was not value for money. The selection of drinks at the bar was limited.

TV's could do with being upgraded

Hotel ideally located and pleasant. We had sea views which was great. We had a great time and the hotel was in an ideal location. Breakfast was good too. We would stay there again.

The only disappointment was the length of time it took to get the water hot and the lack of pressure with the shower Would also benefit from having toiletries such as shower gel, shampoo etc

The location was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was lovely we particularly enjoyed the breakfast. The room was pleasant and clean. Plenty of room for the girls to spread out and play their games etc. Girls 8 and 9 years old were totally captivated by the lady singer who entertained us in the evening. We will definitely book again to stay in the autumn and go to see a show at the Bridlington Spa theatre.

The help they provided when mum had an accident, the proffessionalism and concerns.

The showers were not meant for over size people they are too small.
