Great value stay, rooms are a little small but that was to be expected. Breakfast was not the greatest but definitely sufficient to start out the day. Shining advantage for this hotel was the most helpful and friendly staff, and the convenient location being within walking distance of the King's Cross train and tube stations making travel to any part of London easy and affordable. With free Wireless internet connections and in room coffee/tea this hotel delivers everything you need for your trip to see the city without paying a fortune.Would stay again. The stairs are very narrow and a little noisy, difficult and awkward to carry luggage up. |

the proximity to train station and the hotel was quite I think the price is to expensive we paid £65 for the room and you can get a better quality room form other hotels for the same price |

Basically the location to St Pancras. The staff weren't particularly friendly, the rooms were very basic and the food was of cheap and poor quality |

good location and good value for money staff were not particually helpfull during breakfast (I was left to my own devises to serve myself to luke warm eggs and soggy toast) but overall not a bad experience. |

The receptionist in the evening when I arrived was efficient and helpful. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The breakfast food was good. My room was rather gloomy. A chair would have been useful. Breakfast staff were very busy, but it did feel like rather unwelcoming - like a factory canteen. |

24 hour reception, very warm, good choice of food at breakfast, cooked well, service good. very small rooms, only 1 channel on tv, key not available for wifi, overlooked through window, poor lighting, no bulb over mirror by sink. |

It was clean, quiet had an excellent location just opposite Kings Cross station. The fact that is has 24hour reception is also very handy if you know you are going to be coming in late.The breakfast was also very good. The breakfast room is not big enough for the amount of people that can stay at the hotel. |

the only really good thing about montana excel was the location being only 500 yards or so from Kings cross station. Everything else was a relatively por standard The rooms were cramped, the breakfast wasn't good, the bathrooms were ridiculously small, the hot water was hit and miss. i wouldn't go back |

Location is excellent, within 3 minute walk of tube This is basic accommodation in the extreme. If all you want is a bed for the night in a central location, it's fine. However, this is really a group of rooms rather than a hotel, feels extremely shabby and lacks any facilities. |

Room was tiny, although comfortable, quiet, and comfortable. Quiet location, even though in London. Very close to tube station, which was very convenient! Excellent value for money. |
