It was very loud and the breakfast room was too small for the number of guests.

Basically the location to St Pancras. The staff weren't particularly friendly, the rooms were very basic and the food was of cheap and poor quality

good location and good value for money staff were not particually helpfull during breakfast (I was left to my own devises to serve myself to luke warm eggs and soggy toast) but overall not a bad experience.

The receptionist in the evening when I arrived was efficient and helpful. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The breakfast food was good.

My room was rather gloomy. A chair would have been useful. Breakfast staff were very busy, but it did feel like rather unwelcoming - like a factory canteen.

24 hour reception, very warm, good choice of food at breakfast, cooked well, service good.

very small rooms, only 1 channel on tv, key not available for wifi, overlooked through window, poor lighting, no bulb over mirror by sink.

thestaff were helpful upon arrival, and the breakfast was excellent. it was central to the area i needed to be in.

What you pay for is what you get - no more no less. Good value basic budget hotel with no frills.

the only really good thing about montana excel was the location being only 500 yards or so from Kings cross station. Everything else was a relatively por standard

The rooms were cramped, the breakfast wasn't good, the bathrooms were ridiculously small, the hot water was hit and miss. i wouldn't go back

Straightforward, no frills establishment--simple and adequate.

Room was tiny, although comfortable, quiet, and comfortable. Quiet location, even though in London. Very close to tube station, which was very convenient! Excellent value for money.

The hotel is situated very near to King's Cross St. Pancras station. We travelled by Eurostar, which stops at this station, so that was ideal. The room was clean, no complaints about that.

Rooms were very small, shower was only seperated by a curtain. Also the breakfast area was too small, we had to stand eating, sit with other people it lucky of eat somewhere else. Also the food was used up and not replaced, even though it was not 9 o'clock yet. At 9 an alarm went off and within 2 seconds the lights above the food compatriment went out.
