Very cheap and very poor hotel. How can they show prices like that (from 380 to 1000 £ per night) and discount of 85% !!!! it's false and tricky that you publish and collect such prices/discounts best MDG

Staff was good. We arrived at 3pm at waited for our room to be cleaned for 20 minutes and the room reserved for us was in the toilet section next to looby toilets, after our complaint they offered us another room on the first floor...The hotel was not full and they try to give us one the worst located rooms...

Perfect location for my needs. But may visit again as is very well located for lots of major London attractions. A bit chintzy, dated. Nevertheless clean and well presented.

It was a great place to stay with a helpful and friendly staff and close to transportation to anywhere. No face towels or wash cloths or Kleenex but seems to be normal in uk or Europe. Guess we Americans are spoiled

lovely friendly greeting. They obviously knew we were coming, but they had a very friendly and personal greeting. All the staff were helpful and accommodating for children ( eg hot chocolate at breakfast). They also helped with details of the boat trip and discounts.

Hotel adequate, but is the only hotel I've stayed in which doesn't provide shampoo or shower gel in the room. I was travelling light for a one night stay and was expecting this to be provided when paying £130 per night.

I booked a triple bedroom, since I've a 2 years old child. The bedroom wasn't huge, but extremely well organized, with a lot of useful drawers, a wide desk and a good wardrobe. The price was lower than South Kensigton average, and the quality/price ratio quite high. Friendly staff! The bathroom had a wide bath with shower, wc and a tiny sink: ok for English, less for Italians ... The building is ok, but the good point is its position: Underground just around the corner, several restaurants and shops in the street, Parks and Musea just at a short walk! The internal Indian Restaurant is another plus, but the spicy cousine wasn't the preferred one by my wife and young son, so we were there just once.

Location is good. Hotel is clean 1. I was given room 550. which I later found out it is on the -1 floor instead of 5th floor, no one informed me. 2. the hotel description during booking didn't say this room is in the basement ( with window though) 3. hotel staffs are not very friendly 4. cover too thin, didnt really sleep well 5. breakfast is very basic. will never choose this hotel again.

The location, close to the Gloucester Road underground, is excellent, although there are very many hotels in the area so it's not specific to this hotel. Room was small but convenient and the check-in staff friendly and helpful. The check-out staff, contrary to the check-in staff, was unfriendly and rude. Breakfast room is extremely cramped and on a normal day it will fill up very quickly and you have to wait to be seated. This would be acceptable if it was to wait in a line, but the servants forced everyone to sit in the lunge (I guess a queue looks unpleasant to the people having breakfast?) and wait, and then picked people seemingly at random as places were vacated. Not a pleasant experience at all, and I missed breakfast since it took so long to be seated.
