Lovely room (4-poster bed etc but only a shower, no bath). Very clean. Big, modern TV. We needed to leave early in the morning and they were able to serve breakfast half an hour early to accommodate our request.
Parking outside is not easy and you will have to pay before 5pm.
Everything but the bed was to soft
Large cooked breakfast but no offer of fresh fruit or yogurt .
Its a large looking Hotel from the outside but small and pokey bed rooms , dining room extremely cramped and no facilities for a 4 star Hotel.I dont know how they achieved 4 stars. Well overpriced.
Friendly staff Location well worth staying

Hardest bed in Llandudno
Very Enjoyable altogether.
Perfect location for local amenities both day and night, breakfast freshly cooked with excellent choice. Very enjoyable weekend break
Everything you need is around you even some attractions. No need to say anymore.
Good location, good meals, clean rooms, pleasant staff and very homely feel hotel. Would stay again, please sent offers if possible. Thanks.
Saturday nights in the area a bit loud in the early hours, must be a late bar close by?
Very good value for money. Clean and comfortable hotel. Lovely breakfast. Staff were hardworking and helpful, a real credit to the hotel.
Although clean, think the bedding needs updating to something a little more modern.
Hotel was in a really good location plenty of shops cafes and pubs and right near to the pier.
No parking facilities had to park on road but only for 90mins then had to move to car park away from hotel for 4hours then had to park on road again after 6 pm until 9am then move car again.we were sent an e mail asking if we would like to reserve a parking space we did this but no space was saved for us.also we had to go up 4 flights of stairs to our room with no lift.
Staff helpful and friendly Location of hotel Cleanliness
Window would not open Parking very limited
Good location Comfortable hotel Nice breakfast with attentive staff
Difficulty in parking near to the hotel (not the fault of the hotel, but the parking restrictions placed on them by the local Council). You would think that the Council would want to attract as many day/week-end trippers to their lovely amenities without the hindrance of the 90 minute parking rule!!!! Completely ridiculous. It can't help local businesses much either!!!!
Bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was really good Very handy location for seeing llandudno
Decoration and furnishing very dated and in need of some tlc.
I been using this hotel "Montclare/Cumberland" everytimes I go down for business, I couldn't find any bad works to say about the place and the owner was very accommodating. What a lovely couple and very funny specially "Ian" the husband. The breakfast was superb!! the amount of food on my plate was enough for two people!! Staff was really nice, helpful and very friendly. Fantastic stay and will come again!!
None at all
Room dated. Bed uncomfortable. Pictures of rooms on web site not what you get.
Ambience, decor & freindly staff.
Sea views Location to town and local sights Breakfast
Single glazed sash windows can be a bit noisy No lift and quite steep stairs Limited parking available
For us the location was perfect, our room was very comfortable and we had a wonderful sea view.We will certainly stay again when we return to Llandudno.
Great location and hearty breakfast
Very cramped double room with tiny bathroom. You had to open the door to bend down to use the hand basin.
Loved the old-fashioned British seaside holiday hotel feel that I'd seen in movies and read about, combined with the comfort of ensuite and very comfortable room. Great views! Loved being able to stop off for a drink in the private bar after dinner out! All very welcoming and obliging!!
Not really a problem to us, but the steps up to the rooms could be an issue for less physically able people, especially those with heavy luggage.
