Nothing at all, the legs off the bed fell off, the staff where unhelpful
Location was good for dog walkers
The whole experience
Room Clean & food good
NO Hot water for washing or shower
Rooms were tired and a bit grim, not worth the money.
The location and the staff
the staff were considerate and thoughtful to our disability
the décor was a little tired and bathroom cramp.
No extra charge for dog! Staff were friendly but also professional. Have already recommended to a couple I met in town centre. I will definitely return.
The room (single) was in need of update but I feel this was reflected in the price.
The stay was OK staff were grill the room was OK we just felt hotel needed a bit of tlc
we felt the price was a bit high going by where we have stayed and paid at other hotels.
nice big room clean bed and bedding, pleasant staff
Shower was tiny and dated, breakfast was sparse and only warm, stated bath robes but there was none,tv was too small.
Hotel felt a bit run down Food was poor
Location Not full of kids running riot Room was clean
Dated in need of a refurb. The size of the TV was a joke. Paying £5 deposit for the remote control.
Dog friendly & spotlessly clean.
The weather but that wasn't anybody's fault.
The location was perfect, the staff very helpful, friendly and hard working. The breakfast was good and freshly cooked to order. For what we paid (£60) it was value for money.
We should have upgraded to a better room, we went last minute and choose the smallest double room.
Location right on the beach is great especially if you have sunshine to add to it.....flat location ideal for walking with a wheelchair
Parking is restrictive and tight - however don' t let that put you off there is on road parking too
Good location near to where we wanted to be. The staff were mostly very pleasant but not over welcoming. The room was clean as was the bathroom. The breakfast was good if a little sparse. Overall very good value for money though.
The location of the room at the rear of the building. The dining room was in the basement. What was wrong with having it in the lovely bay windows upstairs with a sea view? The breakfast was tasty but not enough of it.
Staff friendly who were very apologetic for the state of mattresses ect. Staff did offer us another room. The Hotel manager offered us a full refund if we did not stay the night.
Needed to pay upfront on arrival to the hotel not on departure. Only 2 members of staff on duty for the hotel appeared very busy and stressed. Rooms poor quality and very dated. mattresses heavily stained on the single beds we were to sleep in. Towels has stains on them.Refreshments in the room were not replaced from previous guests, teabags had stains on them and sachets sugar, coffee were sticky from spilages. Did not have the rooms that were booked. On request we were given another room which was a tiny room at the back of the hotel over looking the back yard and bins.
Lovely friendly staff.had trouble getting a taxi as it was very busy because of the proms so one of the owners took us in her own car .the hotel is having a refurb at the minute but it did not cause any inconvenience would stay again
Breakfast was ok but could do with improving
Cheap and cheerful - no single supplements, which made it ideal for a group of friends.
Rooms could do with updating & having larger TVs
location, breakfast was fresh and great, quiet
slightly dated decoration
Welcome, accommodation, location
Homely Atmosphere Helpful Staff
Food could have been better.. Quite Expensive Hotel..
Booked for 3 nights, £260. Dear for service provided. Sent e-mails to hotel about a complaint form and we are still awaiting their reply, 2week later. On our first night the bar cooler broke and still wasn't fixed when we ended up leaving a day earlier than we had booked for.one member of staff seemed to be doing all the work, booking , bar , serving food.in my opinion this hotel doesn't merit 3.7 never mind 7.3 NEVER AGAIN .The manageress wasn't very helpful even when we complained to her about the warm beer and lack of entertainment that was advertised,a refund for the night we didn't stay would have been a nice gesture. If you are in your 70's this might be the place for you.
The view from the first floor front window
Wonky toilet seat, taps on hand basin that were too short, massive cracks in ceiling, 'sticky' carpets, £5.00 deposit for remote control, curtains that did not cover the windows. . . . . Lets see if you print this !
Friendly staff bedroom clean and beds comfortable
