The room was very clean and tidy and contained everything we needed for a weekend break including a lovely hot shower. Excellent value for money, nice breakfast and polite and helpful staff. The only small complaints is that this is a very basic hotel that looks like it could use some modernisation. It was fine for us but I would imagine that some people would expect more for their money. It had the appearance of bedsits rather than a seaside b&B. Parking was advertised but this amounts to two parking spaces on the driveway so had to park in the 24hr car park down the road.

Our family room was just right for us, although I was unable to share the double room with my husband as the bed was far too small (we are used to a King size bed and I think this one was a 3/4 bed?) We had a lot of space which allowed the grand children to run about. They were thrilled with the bunk beds and I think we will be getting them some for Christmas. My husband thought the room was fab, especially because he had his own bedroom and television - so he could watch what he wanted. We had enough space to be able to bring back supper for the children and let them have a picnic on the floor - which they really enjoyed. Breakfast was great and both Melissa and I'm not sure if it was her mother were very accomodating. Thank you both. The only thing the family room could have done with and that is only in my opinion because it is what I am used to at home. A bed-side lamp. I feel it would have made me feel more relaxed - although I had no trouble sleeping the single bed was very comfy.

Our second visit and we were not disappointed. Very friendly staff, great with the children. Excellent location near Blackpool Tower, but far enough away to be quiet. Brilliant breakfast and clean, comfortable rooms. Will definitely revisit.

This was a Last minute break search booking.com and spotted the moorfield. Found it to be great value for money, Mellisa very friendly and extremely helpful. The breakfast was very good. The hotel is situated very well about 5 minutes walk to the town centre attractions such as the tower and the theatres. We would recommend this nice quiet little hotel. Thankyou for a nice stay.

Owner very friendly. Have 3 older children - so the family suite was ideal as they could have their own rooms - only thing I would change - couldn't lock the door to the suite and didn't want to lock my door in case the children woke up for anything - maybe change the lock so you can lock it from the inside as well as the outside then I would have been able to leave children's doors slightly ajar.

we had a very warm welcome from our host, melissa. she took us straight to our room, and carried our case for us, she told us where everything was, and said if we needed anything else, we were to let her know. room was just about right for one or two nights stay, but i dont think you could spend a week there. the cooked breakfast the next morning was excellent. that was our 2nd time there, and would stay again for an overnight visit
