This 4-star country house hotel looks out over quiet parkland and Moor Hall Golf Course. It has free Wi-Fi, free parking, 2 restaurants and a spa, gym and indoor swimming pool. The Moor Hall Hotel & Spa has a quiet countryside location with easy access to the M6 and M6 toll highways. Central Birmingham is 10 miles away and the NEC (National Exhibition Centre) is 15 miles away. The Moor Hall Hotel has a pool, a sauna and spa bath. There is a modern, air-conditioned gym, an aerobics room and 3 beauty treatment rooms. The Oak Room offers fine dining and the Country Kitchen offers more casual, carvery-style meals. We stayed for one night at Christmas and the hotel was very welcoming and 'Christmassy'. The staff were very obliging bearing in mind that I am sure that they would rather have been somewhere else on Christmas Eve. The hotel was quite busy and an excellent breakfast was provided by willing staff on Christmas Day.

The staff, the room, the diff bar rooms were all excellent, breakfast for vegans was excellant also with the Chef and waiting staff in the morning could not have been more helpful, thank you. At the Christmas meal I chose the lentil bake for vegans...was this a Pi** take, a bowl of mushy lentils with a strip pf courgette and tomatoe...disgraceful! Vegans are like everyone else except we disllkie the cruelty of meat so in future can you knindly offer you veggie/ vegan guests a nut raost or a soya/ tofu turkey alternative (Holland n Barrett and all supermarket sell these faux roats) with roast pots cooked in veg oil and veg, just like everyone else. Credit where it is due the pudding was very very nice So No I disliked the christmas meal food!

Loved the atmosphere and relaxing by the fire with family in the bar. Enjoyed the carvery, the food was great and the staff were friendly and helpful and even lit the candles on my sisters birthday cake and brought it out after our meal. The rooms were comfortable and relaxing and ours had a ggod view. It's a god meeting place for family from Cheltenham and Liverpool and Derby. Have used the spa facilitiies in the past and found them very good also. The grounds are relaxing and it feels like you are away from busy places as the grounds are well kept.

We've stayed at Moor Hall a few times as a little treat to ourselves. We absolutely love The Oak Room the intimacy of it and the lovely food. The whole ambience of the hotel draws us back every time and possibly the fact that Henry the Eighth stayed there aswell.....!

Friendly staff.Warm and welcoming, as was the ambience throughout our stay. Spa massage lovely.Could have done with a lift but not a real problem and understand that building does not lend itself to one.

Nice room and chocolates on the table. Breakfast ends at 10.30 and check out of 11am on a Sunday!!!! It clearly should be 12 noon at the earliest on Sunday.

On arrival the staff were friendly and efficient. The twin room was bright comfortable quiet and very clean. The ensuite clean and plenty of space. The shower was too powerful.

This hotel proved an excellent choice for our wedding night! The staff were first rate and ensured our wonderful room was warm and welcome and the perfect romance setting. Next the breakfast again excellent and overlooking the grounds and golfers was a great way to relax after our special day. We would recommend this hotel to anyone.
