The room was very clean and well appointed with a very comfortable bed and attention had been paid to the detail. The staff were all very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The choice of breakfast was excellent and I had the nicest cooked breakfast I have had in years. Only shame was that I was only there for one night! |

The kindness of reception staff to change my room to save steps and be close to stairs. I am elderly and do not walk well. Dining was excellent and bar service good. Outside ambience much heightened by the adjacent Neptune's Staircase and nautical atmosphere. There were two receptions (good for you) but seemed to deplete staff serving in bar. I think a possibly visiting football or mountin team occupied all the seating in the bar resaurant. |

Very comfortable hotel with good bar and restaurant food. Neptune's Staircase, an interesting series of locks is by the back door and there is a very good view of Ben Nevis and surrounding hills. |

In particular the accommodation was excellent, having a separate lounge area was ideal. The meals were excellent too. Not applicable - everything about the hotel was first class. |

Good location and good food The mattress was old and requiring immediate replacement. No smoking rooms were available despite accepting a booking on this basis. |

All of it! Not within easy walking distance to Fort William but an excellent base for touring. The rooms had everything you would need. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was lovely. You did hear movement from other bedrooms and the bathroom fans during the night. |
