Other people working in the hotel are friendly ... Extremely rude and even agressive boss trying to rip us off after we checked out late (1h late) - with consent from guy behind the counter night before.

Location near Station. Unfriendly staff with poor English. Car parking not available as spaces rented out to train commuters. Everything in Hotel was dirty and uncared for. Breakfast basic and cheap

We stayed in two chalets at the back of the hotel. Very private and quiet. Rooms were very clean and comfortable, if a little basic. Quite appropriate for an overnight stay. Staff were very helpful. Very good value. I would stay there again. Car park was a bit crowded and spaces are a bit small. Also we had to pay £3 for parking.

The staff is truly supportive and interested in your comfort and in arranging any activity or travel that you may need. Mine included a visit to the local hospital and related support. The beds are ridiculously comfortable!!!!!!!!!!!!! We all know how a vacation or weekend is affected by the quality of the beds!!!! The facility is in a residential area, and is quiet and nice. their dining hall was always filled though I ate in my room. Absolutely nothing to be put onto this list.

The hotel is excellent.an oasis in a difficult place If you have to go to Sevenoakes ,make sure you stay at The Moorings Hotel ,The rooms are spotless, there is wi-fi throughoutthe hotel The rooms in the back are like little chalets and are very charming. The staff leave you be,unless you ask for something and if you require anything, they provide it immediately the showers and bath are more than adequate ,and although we found Sevenoakes quite unfriendly ,the staff at the hotel were wonderfully friendly ,polite ,and helpful We were working at the art gallery in town ,and were frightened to book because of the previous negative reviews the hotel had received, but NONE are true We could not fault the place and we are well-travelled people !

I would use them again next time am down in sevenoaks even though I have put some comments in the box below. The room was not bad and the price was nice to. When went to use the shower early in the evening the water was cold and would not go warm and there was no instructions on how to use the controls on the shower as they didnt seam to match up with the numbers on the controls. The Breakfast the next morning was cold and I didnt want all the english breakfast just the sausage and bacon and got no extra just 1 sausage and 2 bacon. Just as well as the sausage was not nice but the bacon was fine. My friend told me the beans was cold on her plate. The plus point was they did do it for us before 8am on the sunday as we had to leave at 8am. Other down point was having to pay to park in the drive of the hotel. It was only 3 pound but thats not the point. I thought when it said before I booked about paying that it would be on land outside the hotel grounds.

The location was very convenient: a 2 minute walk to the train station and a pleasant 10 minute walk to the center of town. The staff was friendly and attentive. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, everything worked, and it included all the basic amenities one would expect in a low-cost hotel. Though convenient, there is nothing picturesque or charming about the hotel's immediate location. The room was very basic--nothing special. I was looking for a very cheap room for a single stay on my weekend, but there didn't seem to be anything cheaper in Sevenoaks. The price was by no means outrageous, but I would have liked to have gotten a little more--at least have the breakfast included (it cost an extra 5 quid).

The rooms are very basic but adequate. Comfortable beds. Clean if you don't investigate cupboards too closely. I thought it was good value for money and initially I had a good impression of the manager, who was very helpful in arranging taxis. We overslept( wedding do ) and I was charged £20 for missing the check-out deadline. While I accepted the penalty, I felt that it should have been made clear that a penalty would be incurred and a verbal reminder of the check-out time of 10.30 would have been helpful. I felt the manager was less than honest about his ability to use his discretion. I was fobbed off with a story which in retrospect I don't believe, and an e-mail address for raising concerns to the hotel management which would merely go back to him. It was simply a way of making another £20. On departure, our friend informed us that he had been charged £4.00 by this man for waiting in the hotel car park for us on the previous day ( waiting time 1 hr) and that the manager had just attempted to charge him another £4.00 for parking for 10 minutes in order to pick us up on our departure from the hotel. Outrageous. The Ryanair school of hotel management. You have been warned.
