The room was exactly as the photograph, comfortable & relaxing, and well-equipped with essentials, tea & coffee making. Gordon, our host was very friendly, helped us with our luggage, and was knowledgeable of the area including information re York City itself (bus ride distance) & the local hotels within walking distance. We wanted to stay another night except Moorland House was already fully booked out for the York Races being held over the next few days.
