The room was extremely noisey, the party going on downstairs could be heard, loud music until the early hours. The radiator in the bathroom, although it didn´t work, emitted a loud banging noise through the night. The hotel was ok but not if you wanted to sleep, i had two extremely bad night´s sleep which isn´t really desireable when going away. The hotel shouldn´t offer party rooms if it means all the other guests can´t sleep. |

Although there were tea making facilities there were not enough teabags and milk - a minor point however being a tea monster and after a hard day at Chatsworth, it's a must!! |

the hotel staff were extremely helpful and knowledgable. The leisure facilities were very good. Very good value for money for the £54 per night I paid however this was out of main season and I dont know what the price would be mid summer for example. I thought the resteraunt was expensive and the quality did not warrant the price. The hotel decor and room fixtures and fittings are outdated and in need of modernisation. |

The landscaped setting provided the mood we had wished for, my fiance and I, for our get away break together. On approach and entry to the hotel we were encouraged that our stay was to be in splendid surroundings. Unfortunately, the dining area and into the corridors and room itself the decor belied a tired and dated feel to the accomodation. |

Beautiful location - off the beaten path. Very nice facilities over all. Bathroom a bit tired. Very poor cell phone reception. |

The spa and swimming pool were good. The restaurant served good food and the bar food was also good. The restaurant service was somewhat slow. The bar suffers from lack of tables to sit at during busy times. The whole place was insufferably hot and it was not possible to open the windows. I do not know how anyone would manage during summertime without ventilation. |

A brilliant location for walkers and for visits to Manchester too. It was very friendly and also made us as dog owners feel very welcome. Sometimes the service in the bar and restaurant was slow. |

Close to open countryside, with good recreational facilities. A good base from which to explore the surrounding area. Woken early on first morning by dripping water!! Leaking roof in room meant that we had to pack all our clothes up and move rooms. |

I liked the relaxed countryside location and its easy access to abundent walks, without the need to get in the car. The range of sports facilities was good with convenient opening times. If you are looking for an away from it all location this hotel fits the bill. Rooms were slightly on the small side but adequate for a short break, for me the beds were a bit hard. |

Exellent location - very good breakfast - varied menu in both the restaurant and the lounge bar. The wine was very expensive and was not value for money - the price of wine by the glass was outragious. |

From the moment we arrived the staff were excellent -- making us feel very welcome -- the bar and sitting out areas were ideal -- we had only booked b&b for 2 nights -- but after having a great meal in the courtyard restaurant the first evening -- and feeling so comfortable in the hotel -- we booked an extra day -- unfortunately we would have loved to walk in the area -- but it was so misty -- but we will be back !!! Thankyou Best Western. Sorry -- can't help you with this one !!!! |
