Excellent friendly welcome and breakfast. Four poster room lovely, great B&B

The staff were so helpfull,they couldnt do more for you. Every thing you required was in your room and extras ,clean and comfortable. The food was excellent. We would definately stay there again, the location was brilliant for visiting the new forest.

Was a little closer to town than we thought might be , but after saying this some might prefer this as easy walk to town centre, We still found was nice and quiet.

Large room, very comfortable double bed. I've stayed in many hotels and the attention to detail was impressive. The breakfast was good quality and excellent value for money when compared to chain budget hotels for the same price. The owners were very welcoming. Would highly recommend to any one visiting the New Forest.

Well worth the 4* rating. Pleasant room, really clean, superb breakfast, owners very helpful. The best B&B we have stayed in.

Not the fault of the establishment but we would have prefered a bigger bed and will remember when we book next time, which we certainly will!!

Car Park was a bit tight

It was peace and quiet. The breakfast was tasty and fantastic!

I hate the shower electric system, I couldn't find a normal temperature, because it always changed. And the water pressure was so weak and terrible.

There was no bath for the room we booked. It was too warm at night! A few more tea/ coffee / milk sachets would have been nice.

Great location just on the edge of the new forest. Owners were nice and friendly, good breakfast. Rooms were comfortable with all mod cons.

Would have liked a restaurant and bar at the hotel, as we had to go out each night for meals and no guest lounge!

The room was spacious and the reception was very welcoming. The breakfast catered for individual needs and the room was very quiet even though the accommodation was located on a B road into Ringwood

Clean comfortable and convenient for my journey

I was expecting, for the price a well appointed hotel setting - in fact, it presents as an average B&B. I have recently stayed in such a B&B, in a much more attractive location on the Dorset coast, for two thirds of the price

Room was more than adequate, with everything we could have needed.

On my stay at the Moortown Lodge I found the hosts extremely friendly and hospitable ,my room was clean tidy and furnished to a good standard,and breakfast in the morning was first class,I would not hesitate to recommend this establishment to anyone.

The proprieters were very friendly and very keen to ensure we had everything we needed. We had the superior room and this was extremely spacious with a bath and shower. It was so nice to have a very comfortable bed and the little extras such as bath robes, chocolates and cafetiere coffee. I have stayed at more expensive establishments and fresh coffee was not available. The breakfast was delicious and it was obviously fresh produce not tinned as so often these days. We enjoyed our stay and the proximity to Ringwood and Christchurch is so useful. We intend to stay again.

Easy access from Bournemouth

The patrons were friendly, accommodating and helpful. The breakfasts were very tasty and ample. The bedroom was comfortable, and despite it's proximity to a quite busy road, the noise was not intrusive.

Rooms had been newly decorated and smelt strongly of paint as I was pregnant had to sleep with window open
