Located just outside the small Welsh village of Chirk, on the Wales-England border, Morton Park Hotel offers free on-site parking and is only 10 minutes’ drive from Wrexham city centre. Chester city centre can be reached after a 30-minute drive and Snowdonia National Park is just 45 minutes’ drive from Moreton Park Hotel. Shrewsbury’s quaint town centre is a 30-minute drive away. A TV, tea and coffee facilities and a hairdryer feature in each neutrally decorated room, which also has a private bathroom. A full English breakfast, a range of European and British dishes and a variety of real ales and wines are available at the Lord Moreton Pub, which is next door to Moreton Park Hotel. Guests have free use of the facilities at the Lion Quays Country Club, which is less than 5 minutes' drive from Moreton Park. Excellent location from where we live. Didnt want to travel far with young child just a night away. Spa facilities at the sister hotel were amazing. Evening meal was delicious as was breakfast. Faboulous day out at llangollen loads to do. Nothing we ejoyed it all.

The layout of the family room with the mezzanine floor gave more privacy plus lots of storage. The pub next door served excellent food with equally good service at a reasonable price. Staff were helpful and friendly.

The hotel was well situated for what we wanted to do, visiting four national trust sites. The staff were excellent, the food was excellent also the rooms were very comfatoble. Will certainly use this hotel again. Thank you for Recommending it to us at a good price Kind Regards Bryan and Pat Bayliss

We were very pleased with our accomodation, food and especially being able to use the swimming pool at Lyon Quays., although we didn't have time to use it this visit. We have stayed here several times. Thanks to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable.We will be back.

We really liked the layout of the family room with the split level format. Lots of space and light, airy and clean. The sofa bed where my daughter slept was a little 'firm' There was a fair amount of noise from the nearby A5, but you cannot do anything about that.
