The staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming, but always professional. A highlight for me was laverbread and bacon for breakfast - first time for over 40 years. Very comfortable and ideally situated for the city centre.

I really cannot think of anything I did not like, but for one night I did not exercise all the facilities.

stayed in one of their town house rooms. dust on top of bed and on lamp shades. air freshener in room made it smell cheap. could of been better and more comfortable with carpet. very noisy with other rooms so close, could hear talking,television and intimate activites. cushions and spread were A little tatty.

Rooms were comfy, bathroom very well laid out. Parking very convenient

Liked the friendliness of the staff, the luxurious bathroom, the comfortable bed, the unique features of the building, the size of the room, the extra facilities on hand (the iron and ironing board, the tray of coffee and tea, the dressing gowns), the fact that the hotel is so near to town. We also enjoyed the breakfasts and evening meal as well as the bar snack, we had.

All the lighting did not compensate for the darkness of the room. The bedroom, 'The Marina', never got comfortably warm although there was exceptionally cold weather outside. (We did also ask reception for help with the heating and lighting. They were helpful with one up- lighter that was not working and altered the thermostat for us so that the room did get somewhat warmer.) I also wished I had brought my laptop because I could not seem to access Wi-fi on my i-pad. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our stay.

We loved the decor, the molton brown shower gel and the bathrobes. The main hotel itself is very well decorated throughout and the staff were all really friendly. It's very handy for the centre of Swansea.

Could have done with a pair of slippers as because it was cold outside feet felt cold on the wooden floors but really that is just me being picky.

location of the hotel was very convenient. Breakfast was very well presented.

I just felt that the room particulary the bathroom needed a really good clean, this is the second time we have stayed in the hotel for location convenience and the previous en suite bathroom needed a good clean then also, in both bathrooms in the corners there was a build up of dirt which had been there for a while. In the bar there was beer stains all down the sides of the sofas.

We weren't staying in actual hotel we stayed across the road After arriving we had to go back down two floors and hint through a small cupboard to find iron and board We had to move tea and coffee facilities from cupboard due to the tray being left in clothes cupboard The picture of room on website was not the room we had Extremely noisy from outside due to ill fitting windows Extremely noisy inside due to very thin walls and children running around corridors The bed was uncomfortable and collapsed one side No soap dispensers in room worked On entering the hotel bar in evening the bar was extremely full of drunk people falling over and smashing glasses and was very differ cult to get served at the bar also no seats in bar to sit down

Good looking hotel and very nice rooms. Free wi-fi in the room. Good size tv. New bathroom with Molton Brown shower gels. Very good breakfast, and very polite staff.

We had a room to the street which was very noisy with drunks at 4 am shouting in the street. We were told that it was normal on a Wednesday night (students). The shower was very smart but the water went all over the bathroom floor, and our toilet took 10 min to fill up, which we have reported and I am sure it will be sorted.

Dinner at the hotel was enjoyable.

We stayed in the Hafod room costing £125 per night. It was poorly lit, with no where to sit to watch tv or read. It was on the ground floor near reception and we were disturbed by noise from guests talking in public areas into the early hours. The bathroom was facing a public road and we had to keep the blinds drawn permanently to maintain privacy.

the lack of attention to detail in the rooms, considering the cost, we had no toilet rolls one night, no tv one night. We booked this though booking.com they encourage you by mentioning the cost is the cheapest, but when we go into the hotel it was the same price as advertised, so a bit misleading we think, :O( also the room we booked we thought was in the hotel, no, when we got there it was across the road again misleading:O( be careful as the advertising isnt always what you get and we feel is very wrong, we paid high prices for a room, where we could have gone into another hotel and received the same for 1/2 the price.

Excellent service. Great bar. Fantastic food in the restaurant.
