Only 15 minutes from Derby and highway M1, the Morley Hayes Hotel offers luxurious rooms, many with balconies. It has 2 golf courses, 2 restaurants and a helipad. Rooms at the Morley have elegant furnishings and stylish bathrooms. Most have a sitting area and views of the golf course or countryside. Many have balconies, deep bathtubs and powerful showers. The Dovecote Restaurant serves gourmet dishes including a Sunday luncheon. Roosters Bar and Restaurant serves real ales, light meals and snacks while the Spike Bar shows sports events on a big-screen TV. A full 18-hole Championship-length golf course, a 9-hole course and a driving range are available. Tuition and equipment are available at the golf shop. Set in 270 acres of Derbyshire countryside, Morley Hayes is 6 miles from Derby Cathedral and city center. Alton Towers, Chatsworth House and Nottingham city center are all within 30 miles. Morley Hayes is our favourite hotel so close to Derby (and family). The bar and restaurant are popular with local diners, which makes for a very sociable ambience. There is a small lounge/ bar in the residential part of the hotel which is excellent for a quiet meeting. The food is prepared freshly and served with great care and from a nicely varied menu. The staff - from reception to bar and housekeeping are naturally courteous and friendly. Last, but not least, gorgeous 360degree views over the whole site.

I first went to Morley Hayes when my daughter got married there and found it to be a superb place to stay. This last weekend was no exception. A truly magnificient place, good food and great accomodation.
