Friendly and helpful.
Approach road to Guest House.
I booked this hotel for my daughter to visit the university, the owner arranged to pick her up from the train station and take her to St Andrews the next morning, thank you for this.
nothing at all
Very welcoming, will hopefully be back again
We didn't have time to sample the breakfast as we had a very early start in morning. Maybe next time we will!
off the main roads peace and quiet
Very friendly and welcoming owners. The Guest House is located close to St. Andrews with a nice view over the town. The House is very clean and well prepared. Breakfast was lovely, with even Vegan options provided and opportunities to chat about the area and meet other guests.
Nothing we didn't like.
beautiful views from room and friendly staff.
Location a bit remote but excellent taxi service provided.
View out to the town and the sea beyond from our room.
Long driveway off the highway, not enough signs. A bit confusing.
Superb location away from hustle and bustle with fantastic views. Big big rooms and beds. Cracking shower. Friendly and helpful hosts who made our stay so much easier as we had to rely on their taxi service a lot over the weekend . A great place to stay.
The location was a couple of miles out of town however not a major inconvenience as the owner provides a taxi service to and from the farmhouse. Cleanliness is not an issue, comfort fantastic, breakfast excellent - they have thought about virtually anything anyone would want, if they have'nt I'm sure they will try to please.
Friendly couple... Lovely bathroom Good breakfast
Expected lounge .. Not an entrance with 2 sofas and a piano squashed in. Internet didn't work in room. Strange scratching noises from box under window .. Mice? Birds? Wouldn't go back
The position is very good and quiet. Once you turn off the main road, just keep going until you eventually can't go any further. you've arrived
The owner was very efficient and helpful, room comfortable, bathroom new
The breakfast and service of same was excellent.
The entrance to the farmhouse was very shabby and the interior foyer was the same. It was in close proximity to a working barn - muddy and untidy. The roadway to the farmhouse was in terrible condition. At first glance we were shocked.
Great friendly Guest house, everyone well catered for, owners couldn't do enough for you. Wouldn't hesitate to use again. Would certainly recommend.
Only thing was a wee bit difficult to find as its down a single track road.
View of farmlands and sea large room
Host had a quirky humour
Richard and liz were a fantastic couple and made us welcome and we had a good holiday Richard with his keen wit and liz who is a brilliant cook what more could we wish for we had one of our best holidays
Staff and breakfast excellent. Quiet and off the beaten track.
I like a place itself. For me location is perfect. A bit away from city. fantastic view over St.Andrews and sea cost. our room was very clean, reasonably spacious with comfortable bed. Wi-Fi worked perfectly but only inside the house. Breakfast was more than acceptable with homemade preserves and fresh food. Owners were both very hospital and ready to help all the time.
Very friendly host , comfortable room , good on suite facilities . Free Wi -Fi . Excellent breakfast which was prepared to order plus lovely fresh fruit , cereals and home baking.
The only minor problem for us was the location which was a little bit out of town as we were walking. No bother if you had transport.
The rooms were comfortable. The owners were friendly and helpful with local attractions.
The property is located in the middle of a farm with difficult roads to drive.
This place was exactly what my father and I were looking for. A cosy farmhouse in the country. The people that run it are very friendly and helpful.
Nothing to complain about
Nice welcoming friendly greeting by Liz. Good location and lovely breakfast.
Good food and comfortable beds Good hosts , friendly and obliging Mary, West Midlands
This b&b is fabulous. Our hosts were just lovely. Up the hill from beautiful St Andrews with lovely views and a super breakfast. Home made banana bread, jams and a great Scottish breakfast. Even a taxi service in/out of town for a moderate fee. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. If I am ever back in St. Andrews I will be reserving my room.
The peace and quiet. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The breakfast was beautifully cooked with lots of extras.
