The owners were very friendly and the breakfast was good. The hotel is on the main road in the village of Castle Donington and it is very difficult to park.We were allocated an exterior room in the garden which was very, very small and damp and we could hardly get our suitcase inside. I would not use this room again. The main building is fine. |

The staff were very helpful and friendly. Bed was comfortable. Tea making facilities in room. Parking was available on site. The breakfast was great and service was excellent. The see-through shower cubicle in the room was not suitable for colleagues sharing a room; but there was a separate shower and toilet available. However there was no washbasin in the toilet/shower room. |

We liked; the cleanliness; staff welcome; hearty breakfast, it is a good b&b Charge on debit card payment (but we understand it's the greedy bankers fault not the owners!) |

I couldnt find anything that I liked about my stay. In fact it was not a hotel at all. When is a hotel not a hotel? Answer: When its a b+B. I liked nothing. It was a nightmare of a stay. Tiny room, and apart from a small tv, no basic facilities that would be expected in a normal basic hotel. Like a washbasin in the shared lavatory/showerroom. A most unpleasant place that was more like a hostel, only a hostel would have more facilities. |
