BEST WESTERN PLUS Mosborough Hall Hotel  

I do know from previous experiance that the Mosbrough is often busy at weekends with Wedding Parties. At times it can be impossable for non party guests to have a quite drink in the bar. Breakfast on one day was spoilt by the cooked breakfast not being up to standard, cold plate, cold sausages, sent it back.

We had a 50th birthday party there and facilities, food, room and DJ were all excellent!

Lovely hotel (especially compared to the local Travelodge which was dire!), lovely surroundings, lovely, clean room, very good value when compared to the poor standard of the travelodge, which was only a matter of Pounds less!

The price of the breakfast was very expensive, even compared to hotels I have stayed in in London. There is also no price list for breakfast in the room pack, even though there is for other meals of the day, so you do not find out the cost until you have agreed to eat and are given the menu.

Booked as a wedding location by our daughter, the organisation went well and the day ran like clockwork. The only criticism was of the amount of food in the buffet that ended up wasted. The main meal was good and the following buffet was then far more than people could tackle. It would have been better if it could have been introduced bit by bit, as consumption dictated, so that food not used could be retained in the fridge for use within the next few days

We had an excellent experience at Mosborough Hall Hotel. I had stayed there before and had no hesitation in staying again and in future if I needed to stay in that location I would choose Mosborough Hall again ......... great staff, great welcome and excellent service. Extremely comfortable room too.

Fine Hotel in Fine surounds

hotel was very old looking and the grounds were nice it looked very pretty. breakfast was very nice well presented.park and ride was quite close which is useful and a good bus servvice into city and chesterfield.

I didn't like anything about the hotel/staff except the receptionist was very efficient.

I am still waiting for an apology from the restaurant manager
