Lovely hotel (especially compared to the local Travelodge which was dire!), lovely surroundings, lovely, clean room, very good value when compared to the poor standard of the travelodge, which was only a matter of Pounds less! The price of the breakfast was very expensive, even compared to hotels I have stayed in in London. There is also no price list for breakfast in the room pack, even though there is for other meals of the day, so you do not find out the cost until you have agreed to eat and are given the menu.

Service & staff were very good I have to say that the soundproofing between the rooms was very poor ! I felt that I was in the room with the person next door !! I could clearly hear his telephone conversation during the evening & his snoring woke me up in the early hours of the morning

The ease of booking and the information provide on line. Room could have had a heater that went higher than 21 degrees centigrade. We visited in November and found the room a little cooler than we would have liked. However it did not spoil our stay.

Booked as a wedding location by our daughter, the organisation went well and the day ran like clockwork. The only criticism was of the amount of food in the buffet that ended up wasted. The main meal was good and the following buffet was then far more than people could tackle. It would have been better if it could have been introduced bit by bit, as consumption dictated, so that food not used could be retained in the fridge for use within the next few days

Breakfast was very poor. Long wait to order, once ordered long wait before the food came. When food arrived beans were cold, fried eggs were hard, black pudding had run out. This is poor.

We needed somewhere to stay following our visit to Chatsworth Country Fair and this hotel was perfect for us. Lovely staff and delicious food. Hotel very attractive and nearness to Renishaw Hall gardens a real bonus. A bit firmer mattress would have been nice.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room (201) was very noisy-water pipes gurgling all night, like trying to sleep inside a washing machine. Breakfast was chaos-2 waitresses trying to cope with lots of stroppy hungover wedding guests.

The location of the hotel was ideal for our visit to family members staying in Mosborough. Rooms a bit "tired" and hotel a bit noisy after late night function.
