Excellent en-suite showering facilities, comfortable beds, from which one could watch a variety of channels. For one of us, bed mattress too soft, causing backache after the second night. The extractor unit in the en-suite was broken, causing steaming up of the bedroom. |

Excellent food and professional but friendly staff. Room was comfortable and spacious and stay was far better value than my previous 2 nights in other hotels. I will return when working in the area again. |

Comfortable, stylish hotel; great value I have stayed at the hotel once before. Both times, there was not a cooked breakfast available from 7am as there should have been and I was not told it was not available so that I sat there waiting for someone to take my order until I overheard someone on a neighbouring table saying there was continental only. |

The room was smallish but very well thought out. The bed and pillows were the most comfortable I've ever found - and I stay in a lot of hotels! The Bar Menu was extensive but the Restaurant Menu was quite restrictive. |

Although we left or dining reservation until late in the day, we were accommodated and the meal was excellent. Although the hotel has recently undergone a £4m refurb it is already showing signs of neglect e.g. cobwebs in coridors, bath panel bloating from water absorption, toilet cistern sounds like an elephant trumpetting (brought to attention of staff on departure). We were lucky to be accommodated for a dinner reservation, even though there was plenty of seating available. |

the hotel is fantastic and in a fantastic setting..staff were very helpful and the breakfast is one of the best we have ever had at a hotel. the food was fantastic. our only minor gripe was that there was not enough storage space in the room for our clothes and we were only staying there for two days!!! |

Staff were professional and courteous, room was nice, restaurant was superb. Dinner menu is high quality and extremely well cooked and presented. Hotel is very good value for money. |

we found the hotel easily, were impressed by the set-up and had an excellent breakfast. would recommend this hotel to anyone who needs to visit Sheffield but does not want to stay in the city centre. |

We were in a hurry when we arrived as we were en route to a funeral. We were able to go into our room at 12.30 and sandwiches were brought promptly when ordered. We would thoroughly recommend it! No slip mat in teh bath which was very slippery. |

The room was excellent, as others have said, it has been recently refurbished and looks great. food was excellent. again service for breakfast was slowish, but it did not help that everyone arrived at about the same time. |

The bar and restaurant for breakfast was decorated to a very high standard. The bedrooms and public toilets were very clean, and generally the standard of this hotel leaves a lot of hotels in the uk to shame!! There was seriously not atmosphere in the hotel...there was no background music & the hotel felt a little cold. The staff drank in the hotel bar which I think is a big no-no!! The reception staff were less than friendly & helpful, we walked miles to find the tram after getting crap directions. No map was offered. This would actually put me off going back, as all we wanted was 2 days to relax!! |
