The hotel is situated in a nice area of Sheffield, with pleny of car parking space it is well kept and is very clean, the rooms are clean and tidy, the staff are very good, the service is good, the price we paid for our 2 nights stay was resonable. We shall be staying at the hotel again in the very near future. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is visiting Sheffield |

Pleasant, modern bar and dining area which was nicely decorated in contemporary style. Our room was very clean. Our room was a bit dated with turquoise blue paint and a plastic vanity sink. The ploughmans I ordered had the two smallest pieces of cheese and thinnest slice of ham I had ever seen - more of a starter than a lunch! |

Good location for countryside & Sheffield. Old property well modernised but kept many of the old features. Large, well equipped room. Good breakfast. Did not have Dinner as out visiting family. Will stay again. |

Warm welcome at check in. Quick delivery of iron and ironing board once requested. Impressive detached building for wedding party/conferences etc. Bed was a little soft for our liking. Some of buffet breakfast was warm rather than hot |

The room was excellent and the two meals were of a very high standard. Staff were helpful and pleasant. My bed was too soft: it's obviously a personal thing, I like an orthopaedic mattress! |

Excellent en-suite showering facilities, comfortable beds, from which one could watch a variety of channels. For one of us, bed mattress too soft, causing backache after the second night. The extractor unit in the en-suite was broken, causing steaming up of the bedroom. |

Excellent food and professional but friendly staff. Room was comfortable and spacious and stay was far better value than my previous 2 nights in other hotels. I will return when working in the area again. |

Comfortable, stylish hotel; great value I have stayed at the hotel once before. Both times, there was not a cooked breakfast available from 7am as there should have been and I was not told it was not available so that I sat there waiting for someone to take my order until I overheard someone on a neighbouring table saying there was continental only. |

The room was smallish but very well thought out. The bed and pillows were the most comfortable I've ever found - and I stay in a lot of hotels! The Bar Menu was extensive but the Restaurant Menu was quite restrictive. |

Although we left or dining reservation until late in the day, we were accommodated and the meal was excellent. Although the hotel has recently undergone a £4m refurb it is already showing signs of neglect e.g. cobwebs in coridors, bath panel bloating from water absorption, toilet cistern sounds like an elephant trumpetting (brought to attention of staff on departure). We were lucky to be accommodated for a dinner reservation, even though there was plenty of seating available. |

the hotel is fantastic and in a fantastic setting..staff were very helpful and the breakfast is one of the best we have ever had at a hotel. the food was fantastic. our only minor gripe was that there was not enough storage space in the room for our clothes and we were only staying there for two days!!! |

Staff were professional and courteous, room was nice, restaurant was superb. Dinner menu is high quality and extremely well cooked and presented. Hotel is very good value for money. |
