Great value for money.
just a tad too far from city centre for my liking, but would prob still stay here again...
The owner was very hospitable, and welcomed us despite the late hour. The room was clean and very comfortable.
Very convenient for collecting our daughter. She lives in Spain and was visiting home for a week
Can we have a clock in the rooms please
Picked this guest house as a stop over before an early morning flight from the airport. Even the Travelodges in the City Centre were averaging 120 a night so took a punt on this for 50 prepay for a double ensuite and it paid off! Took the 219 bus from Piccadilly Gardens stop ew and got off at Guide Bridge, walked down Guide Lane, left at Chapel Street, right onto Cartwright Street and left onto Shepley Road. The walk takes about 15 mins and the area seems safe. The owner provided a warm welcome upon arrival and my room was upgraded to a large family triple with huge, clean bathroom, cosy bed and a good night's sleep!
Nothing. I had done my research and it was everything I expected and everything as described. Thank you!
*A very clean double room *Extremely comfy bed *A very good sized en-suite bathroom *A large plasma T.V *A generous supply of tea, coffee, and milk *Nice and warm at night *The hotel was very quiet at night - the best nights sleep I have had in a long time! *Friendly and welcoming staff that couldn't do enough for you. *On - site parking with 24-hour CCTV *Great location, with easy access to M60
I liked everything from staff to vending machine ha ha most friendliest staff ever and help you in everything you need or want and the beds are sooo comfortable.
when people were going to the toilet through the night but wasn't anything the hotel or staff or anyone could do about it so don't let it put you off.
carpet very dirty disgusting
The B&B was ideally located for the party we went to at the premier lounge. The room was nice and clean with fresh linen the bed was very comfy and the breakfast was excellent all in all great value for money.
Staff Room Breakfast Location
The staff were helpful, and polite. I was pleasantly suprised when l was upgraded to a better room with a double bed and en-suite.
To see cobwebs in the bathroom.
1. Hand made breakfast is cheap but in good quality. 2. Staff are very friendly and nice.
Price Cleanliness Friendly service
I liked the price of the room
The walls were so thing that I hearing everything. It was like sleeping with the man of the next room.
Friendly staff Everything included that you would need Excellent breakfast with a fast service Free wifi Quiet location
Friendly staff and good size rooms, good breakfast to. Good value for money though.
Very basic no appeal to the House, lack charter.
The large room, lovely hot water and comfortable beds.Location was good for visiting relatives.Staff cheerful.
Poor value breakfast, could have been cleaner.
Lack of noise insulation - I could hear every word spoken in the next room. The springs in the old mattress stuck into my spine. Bathrooms had noisy fans that switched on automatically with light switches and awoke me at all hours. Other residents arrived back noisily in the early hours of the morning and talked loudly in the corridors. Doors banged and floorboards creaked. I have never stayed in such a noisy hotel in my life. Take your ear plugs with you if you stay there! Walls of the room are bare with no pictures. Decor is a drab cream and brown. This is a hotel occupied mainly by salesmen, engineers and workmen not families, couples or leisure seekers. Small car park. Traffic noise in rooms at front of the building.
Everything. Nothing elaborate, just Good value, Good food, Friendly staff & Nice & clean.
Room was clean, breakfast was very good. Staff were friendly and eager to help us find our way around (Aubersheen/Manchester)
Location pretty far from Manchester, at least a 20-30 minute train trip. Shower did not drain very well, room was very hot (in July) and no fan or AC was provided.
The bed was large and comfortable The room was clean Nice clean towels. All the basics for an overnight stay were good. Pleasant welcoming staff. Free parking Cheap. Free Wi-Fi Close to railway station (Guide Bridge) which has free parking and is just 9 minutes from Piccadilly.
Public rooms close at 9pm Breakfast room is locked, and only opened late. 8am is start time which is too late. Needs to be 7am really, as this is geared to business travellers No shampoo provided. Looking a bit tired. Needs a good paint, and freshening up. Nobody (evidently) onsite overnight - it's just rooms and corridors.
cheap basic accommodation-ideal for one night stop over. no frills
very friendly with parking
Relaxed and friendly attitude
