large comfy bed and good quality towels bath as well as shower no air conditioning

We booked the hotel because it had a pool and were disappointed that it was closed due to a leak. No money off was offered.

Generally comfortable and most staff were very welcoming and helpful. Free wi fi.

The swimming pool was shut and we were not warned. The shower in our room was poor as was the soundproofing.

Door locks temperamental Swimming pool out of use Decorators ie smell of paint ! Curtain didn't meet in the middle due to rusty old track First room ( we were relocated) well worn toilet seat ! Gave impression of being dirty Shower leaked over the floor due to poor design Not what we would consider a 4 star rating hotel should offer

Another lovely stay at Mount Murray. This time we got married on the island at Castle Rushen and used the hotel for its fantastic facilities, hair and beauty salon in particular (Pat and her team in her salon highly recommended). Nothing is too much trouble for the staff all very friendly. Great food in both restaurant and bar area. The hotel found out we were getting married and had left a bottle of champayne and fruit and chocolates for when we got back which was an amazing touch to the end of the day- many thanks for this!!! Would not hesitate to stay there again. Thanks again!!

I liked the leisure facilities allthough a little tired looking.

the fact there was no hot water for my shower. either on the evening or in the morning. Plus the shower head was broken.

The hotel is located in impressive grounds. We had an executive double room which was superb. Great facilities and excellent food. All staff were very helpful and friendly. Due back in Easter and very much looking forward to staying here again.

Liked that the hotel was quiet and clean. lots of space in the room which was lovely good size with tv and little extras . good staff and very good bar food and breakfast very tastyand hot lots of it. will be definately staying again soon as the prices are very good

Reasonable room but a bit soulless . Breakfast of standard expected.

Booked half board but was not believed at reception who insisted they didn't do half board only bed and breakfast. After a long wait even after showi g my booking confirmation I was reluctantly given two dinner vouchers for each night. My son was not well on the first night so I asked if I could put them towards room service as he couldn't go to the restaurant but was not allowed so as I didn't want to leave him him we had to forego the dinners that we had paid for - I was not even allowed to put these vouchers which were worth £15 each towards room service which was a rip off as I had already paid for this and was told I would have to pay again so rather than give the hotel more money we had pizza delivered!

Room freezing when arrived, took ages to heat up. Bed old and not very comfortable.

Steam room was out of order and the breakfast was slightly disappointing in the service with staff rushing around without managing to take orders for tea, coffee etc, and quality of the breakfast itself. Bacon was very fatty & scrambled eggs were watery.

The Hotel was very plush our favourite thing was the Hydrotherapy pool, fantastic location

The only thing that was not up to speck was the Heating in the rooms and the Hotel in general it was mid November could have been warmer

Overall average hotel, wifi very poor, leisure club dated and not everything works, steam room broken, sauna wouldn't warm up. Regular said this is the normal situation. Waited 1/2 hr for food in bar when a regular came in and ordered then same meal after me but got his 10minutes before me? Reception staff was checking me in then stopped to talk to another regular, not very good service. Room good standard as long as you don't want wifi. Really not what i would expect for a 4star hotel. I have stayed in Premier Inn's that have been better.

Staff were friendly and helpful, most of food was very good, room was large and comfortable.

Ordering a sandwich on brown to be presented with bread which looked and tasted like sawdust and was probably from an economy loaf, pity as all other food was really good.

Clean, large room, quiet area. Good breakfast.

Rooms were very dark and electric heater not adequate for the size of the room in October. Car park needs more adequate lighting. Also hotel sign on road to hotel is not visible in the dark, due to neon light advertising Sunday Cavery, but not saying where, if you drive up to it at that point.

the staff at breakfast were very friendly, good selection. The bar in the evening was a bit drab, not a lot of interaction from the bar staff which let them down a bit.

room was a bit cold on first night

Excellent location not far from Douglas. We had a comfortable room with plenry of space, a comfortable bed, two arm chairs and a large flat screen television. Breakfast was in the restaurant conservatory with plenty of sunlight and views over the golf course and countryside. The staff in the restaurant at breakfast were very helpful and attentive,The leisure facilities had a large gym with plenty of equiptment, a large indoor swimming pool and an excellent hydro spa pool. There is plenty of car parking space at this hotel and it is in an ideal location from which to explore the many tourist attraction on the island.

The window was small in comparison to the size of the room making the room a bit on the dark side.

Friendly staff, Stayed for a wedding and family sunday lunch. very good value.The airport transfer service excellent James the driver very polite an excellent ambassader for the hotel.
