From the time I walked in the door until I checked out, I was made to feel welcome. All of the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The room was spacious, and the bed was so comfortable that I thought I was in my own bed! The food was fantastic! Everything was cooked to perfection. The waitstaff were magnificent. I stayed for 2 nights, and I received a warm welcome for breakfast and dinner on my second day. The location was great as I had travelled there to hike the Malvern Hills. To be fair, I can't say enough good things about the Mount Pleasant. If you're thinking of opening a hotel, go stay there. They teach a master class every day. Go and experience excellence for yourself! Disclaimer: This is not a paid endorsement but my own experience!

The Mount Pleasant Hotel is a family run country-house hotel occupying a beautiful Georgian building right in the centre of Malvern. Great Malvern Train Station is 0.7 miles away and Worcester is 9.7 miles away. There are 18 individually decorated en-suite bedrooms, many of which are furnished with original antique furniture, in keeping with the Georgian building. Mount Pleasant Hotel offers a bar and restaurant plus an additional restaurant available for private hire. There are also 3 rooms available for meetings, conferences and functions. The hotel overlooks the Priory Church with direct access to the hills. Many of the public rooms and bedrooms have a view of the Malvern Priory and eastwards over the Vale of Evesham, towards The Cotswolds.
Couples particularly like the location — they rated it 9.3 for a two-person trip.
