Many workers staying at hotel, leaving early hours to go to work. blocking car park with vans and equipment. Could not get car out first night.
Very clean comfortable room and friendly atmosphere, lovely hot cooked breakfast.great locality for town
We were offered a larger room with a separate bedroom area which gave a little more privacy and space for me and my son. Karl was a lovely host and looked after us very well.
Road was a little noisy early in the morning but we did have the windows open. You probably wouldn't notice with the windows shut.
Wifi was good. Room was clean, comfortable, bathroom was really clean and nice.
There are only two things that were a bit discomforting, the tv reception was not good, and parking was small and dangerous for big cars, especially as I pulled into the parking and there was a lot of cars there, very awkward to pull round to get out.
The hotel is what it is. Offers great location. Pleasant facilities at the 2-3 star level. Helpful staff. We had a stags party in the hotel but didn't hear them. Breakfast was good traditional fare. Carparking tight but there.
Free wifi although patch was a nice addition
Door springs to bedrooms far too strong. That's all I can say negatively so that tells you everything.
That it was close to the seaside
Cleanliness and breakfast
Great location and friendly staff. Seems recently refurbished. Relatively quite. Coffee making facilities A good breakfast!
Visa/MasterCard or cash only Parking area at the back can get a bit congested so plan ahead if you need to make an early departure. Foyer and dining area are a little clinical. Only a fitted sheet and a duvet. No top sheet for the hotter nights. No glassware in the room Only one hook in the bathroom for a towel
location breakfast staff
double bed not comfy general sitting room not very inviting
The hotel itself is plain, clean and simple. Its in a very central location. The price for the accomodation is fair.
The breakfast... They should have a menu with options and relevent pricing (or include the breakfast with the price of the accomodation!). Its £5 per person regardless to what you eat, my girls only had cereal for breakfast so two bowls of cereal for £10 is unreasonable and one of my daughters only drinks water. So we went somewhere else for breakfast the following morning.
It was exceptionally clean.
The bed was uncomfortable
Location is good and the small bar is open long hours at very reasonable prices. Karl (barman) was entertaining breakfast was great so not sure why there were bad reviews on this
Small dated room with noisy corridor doors - would have been okay as a single. No toiletries ? It's been years since I've stayed in a hotel that doesn't provide toiletries.
Friendly greeting, offered alternative ground floor room which was clean and comfortable.Breakfast was fine, nicely presented with very attentive and polite service.
Carl in the reception was very helpful and friendly. Also the hotel was very close to the city centre and to the beach.
The cafeteria was not super nice
Good location. Rooms were clean.
Hotel is a bit old fashioned and stuffy. The main reception and kitchen area need a revamp.
Karl was superb. Friendly, helpful and always available. Beds comfortable and clean and room was cosy. Enjoyed very much.
No draught in the bar and £6.35 for a can of cider and a bottle of Becks.
Great location for BIC, very reasonable price, friendly staff. Perfect for our needs.
The location was perfect for the Bournemouth International Centre, the beach & the town centre.
I didn't particularly like having to negotiate my way, with a suitcase, along a corridor strewn with dust sheets, paint tins, paint trays, broken chest of drawers and a rather rickety double wardrobe that looked like it would collapse at any moment! All of this was there for our entire stay. The room was very cold and there was a gap of about 3" under the door. This hotel needs a refurb urgently.
Friendly staff, large shower cubicle in our room, outside terrace, short walking distance from shops, bars, restaurants. Very relaxed and welcoming. As a gay couple you never know what reception you're going to get!
Breakfast could be better, not much to it and could be better quality but as not included in room price we chose to eat locally.
Location, Nice large rooms, very clean everywhere, good breakfast,Parking, ease of booking,
. Our first stay at this hotel , given a warm reception , stayed in room 18 , clean tidy and comfortable , the bed was comfortable, a five minute walk to the sea , will definitely return to the mount stuart.
Disturbed by a very drunk young lady looking for her fella knocking all the room doors , but was quickly dealt with by Karl the barman
good location, friendly staff, off street parking
very basic, tired, in need of some thoughtful touches
Very friendly and very clean, good breakfast. Would stay here again
Very friendly and helpful staff. Sheets and towels were clean and fresh. Breakfast is good value.
Rooms are 'tired'. Time for refurbishment.
Very welcoming and friendly, accommodating to requests. We would certainly stay here again.
The bath in the bathroom was incredibly small!
