It is very relaxing and a good place to be whenever I feel as if that if I want to relax, the location is very good as well because I am able to see the countryside as well. So I think this hotel deserves to be an excelent hotel.

They claimed they had no record of my booking which is a first using this site. The first room I was allocated had a dead fly in the shower, paper peeling off the wall and the smallest tv I've ever seen but didn't work! Was allocated another room that was only slightly better but the bathroom was freezing and had no heating. The restaurant was also closed so all you could eat was a limited bar menu which was further limited by some items nit being available. Avoid at all costs.

Very informal Meals available until 9.30pm Bed was extremely comfortable Tea & Coffee facilities in the room (although kettle was very small-a travelling size one)Spacious bathroom Ground floor rooms for the two elderly ladies (88 & 79yrs) so no steps to climb Rather noisy at the weekend owing to parties being held on two consec utive nights. The two elderly ladies in our party (88yrs & 79yrs old) found it difficult to climb into the shower, didn't know that there was not a separate shower but only one over the bath so they couldn't use the shower.

We booked a room as we had booked the function room for the night. Staff very accomadating and polite. good food for the function. Room was comfortable for our needs (tv's are small). Goode location not far from Chester and close to main expreesway (less than 5 Mins). Very good breakfast and their were other friends who had rooms who were a bit fragile and late for breakfast but the were still served. All in all an enjoyable evening and stay. Bathrooms could do with updating (minor point).

The food was lovely, and everyone was really friendly. The room was spotless, and I was really imjpressed with it. A lot nicer than I was expecting and I would reccomend it to anybody wanting a quiet get away. In the middle of nowhere so lovely to get away but wouldn't reccomend it to people wanting a louder type break.

The window catches were falling off, the bathroom tiles had milldew/mold which could have been cleaned off. The television was very small for the size of the room. Cleanliness is not as it should be. This hotel has the potential to be made into a real good complex but standards need to be raised.

The hotel is in a very picturesque location and the building is attractive as you drive in. The modern bar and Moroccan themed restaurant are both well decorated and the staff were very friendly and welcoming; though we had to go on a little hunt to find them! The hotel room was simple and dated but comfortable enough and value for money. Breakfast was very satisfying with the usual cereals and a full English cooked to order. Walls are quite thin and it would also be nice to have some decaf hot drink options at breakfast.
